“The Donald will be laughing all the way to the bank. It’s what he does. “

Maybe so, but so will all the rest of us.

Sheesh!

I enjoyed reading all of your well reasoned commentary. Now let us all proceed to do the right thing. Give Trump a chance to clean up the corruption, and begin to repair our shattered economy, and global trade.

No one here has the contempt for the GOPe I do.

You guys want the guy who played both sides of the fence and is reaching for the brass ring. Well, that's Yuuuge. You'll own it. Bye.

What does this mean? You are angry Trump donated to both parties? There are just four possible donation scenarios ...

So which scenario is the one that would make you feel all tingly? A candidate with no paper trail and never donated to anyone? A candidate who only devoted to (R)epublicrats? Yeah that's it, isn't it. You want someone who only donated to (R)epublicrats which by the way makes your previous sentence there "No one here has the contempt for the GOPe I do" a lie since almost every single (R)epublicrat is a GOPe lackey of some sort. There's none left to trust, including TPA Teddy.

Trump donated peanuts relatively, and to both parties. How on Earth is this considered a bad thing, especially since it becomes a giant asset in the general election? He is the only one in either party to this very day who gets to say that he is non-partisan or bi-partisan by definition. He can say: "Folks, I've donated to both parties, even to my opponent, I'm not a party hack so vote for me to clean up the mess." Surely you see the unique utility of this!

You do realize the point here is to win the general election, right? You do realize that the electoral map is badly aligned against us, right? You do realize that you must convince (D)ummycrats to crossover or you lose, right?

Actually I don't think any Cruzers understand this at all.

I do indeed. I guess it depends on what constitutes a 'win' for you. We have been long faced with the situation of accepting the lesser of two evils, and here we are again.

Given that choice, I'd prefer the 'lesser evil' at least have consistently stood for Constitutional principles.

But, if the electorate is back to wanting to choose between dem communist and dem 'lite' again because we can 'win!', then not one damned thing has changed except the condition of the Republic, which has been on a steady decline trend since Reagan.

You don't understand the Contempt I have for the GOpee, the lies, the crap pulled at the State level here. Look up the date of the ND Republican primary this year. Go for it. Tell me how much of a voice I have in all this, and perhaps you will begin to understand that contempt.

If we can't win this with someone who will uphold the Constitution and who will stop the rogue federal agencies largely responsible for this mess, be it military, economic, scientific, or cultural, then we have lost before we have started. Another, yes, ANOTHER crossover candidate who will sell us down the river is just a waste of effort. It isn't a win if we "win" the election and lose the Republic.

P.S. We lost the last one because (as I have been told, repeatedly) a significant portion of the Republican voters just didn't.

In fact, those who didn't pack their nostrils with limburger cheese and go vote for Romney have even been shat at with the common-core math principle that not voting adds to the opposition vote tally.

If democrats count more than conservatives, you will lose again.

Trump vs Hillary is NOT a lesser of two evils like in the past.

While not exactly a perfect (R)eagan versus (D)ummycrat, it is however definitely NOT a GOPe (R)epublicrat versus a (D)ummycrat. This is a bona fide outsider whom they both hate. You insist on lumping him in with Romney or Dole or whoever and that is self-evidently wrong.

I mean the biggest issues are owned by Trump and NOT supported by any uniparty candidate: Amnesty/Illegals/Wall, Military, Vets, Taxes, Trade, Offshoring/Outsourcing. The most important unique thing he brings is pro-American nationalism, especially with regards to trade and negotiation. Listen, I hate to tell you but none of the others including Cruz would be caught dead running the flag up that pole.

It's fine and dandy to dream of a Constitutionalist hitting the White House, but such a quality really only brings bragging rights to him and personal satisfaction to you because the President no longer gets line items to veto. It didn't even help 200 years ago with the three Democratic-Republican Constitutionalists Jefferson/Madison/Monroe were in power. The FedGov monster just waited them out.

What does an alleged Constitutionalist like Cruz ( I will not agree on that description ) bring to the oval office in 2016? Any executive order he reverses can be redone by the next guy. Any cabinet he rejiggers gets re-rejiggered by the next one. He cannot peel away layers of bureaucracy without Congress and I don't know if you heard but they hate Ted. He gets no bills to veto on constitutional principles, rather it is a laundry list to sign or they accuse you of shutting down the government. The only possible reason anyone would demand a Constitutionalist would be so they personally feel better about their President. The office no longer has much to do with the Constitution.

Now for a Supreme Court Justice or House or Senate member it is critical to get Constitutionalists in there, especially if there is a majority of them. Maybe now you see the ludicrousness of taking these alleged Constitutionalists out of the very offices they hold and can make a difference being in! Taking them out of there and trying to shoehorn them into an office that is mostly decorative is almost inexplicable.

If you have a Trump and Cruz in the toolbox, and two jobs available, President and Justice, I think you Cruzers got your wires crossed on how to use the right tool for the job. Especially if you consider the fact that an actual "Constitutionalist" would voluntarily put handcuffs on himself and follow the spirit and letter of the founders and unilaterally disarm himself against the enemy. That office, in 2016, needs an outside-the-box thinker who is a ruthless strategist and willing to do what is in the best interest of the USA and stop the fleecing of America and her taxpayers.

Getting Trump in there is really about putting some more time on the electoral doomsday clock. If he cannot manage to block Amnesty and get the wall and a moratorium on naturalizations, nothing else will matter anyway. All the Constitutional wishlists become moot. It is over after that and there is no way back without bloodshed. The key fact here is that these very issues were never even going to come up until Trump announced.

You never answered the question though. Who should he have donated to, if anyone, to make it palatable? I calculated the relative donation equivalent and it was literally pocket change to me or you. And I really believe that will be a very lucrative investment in neutrality and good will when it comes time to collect votes in the general.

“We cannot let our 1st Amendment Rights be taken away from us folks...We have a Right to Speak...When they have Organized Professional wiseguys, WE’VE GOT TO FIGHT BACK. “-Trump

Friends, I shall ask you to be as quiet as possible. I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot; but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose. But fortunately I had my manuscript, so you see I was going to make a long speech, and there is a bullet - there is where the bullet went through - and it probably saved me from it going into my heart. The bullet is in me now, so that I cannot make a very long speech, but I will try my best.

Now up above you said multiple times that you despise the GOPe. Well, this comment here indicates massive cognitive dissonance on your part.

By voting lesser of two evils for Romney over Dumbo accomplishes only one thing ... empowering the GOPe to do it over and over again. They rightfully think: "Don't worry! The suckers will vote for our dude anyway, rig the primaries, slander the conservatives, use the playbook".

The only reason the GOPe (R)epublicrats even exist is because they get votes, which by the way is why the socialists still exist here as (D)ummies.

Voting lesser of two evils keeps the uniparty in business. Now look around you and see what is happening right now before your eyes. They are apoplectic and frantic because this guy Trump has figured a way to neutralize them singlehandedly. He must succeed. Failure is not an option because the uniparty is the path to ruin. One half is the fast lane, and the GOPe half is just a slower lane.

Yeah..so much so that he totally destroyed Trump in Wyoming yesterday. Chortle!”

That might not be the best example you could give, if you want Mr. Cruz to keep the support of Second Amendment supporters. Neither RINO Governor Mead nor Judge Gregory Phillips of Wyoming has been doing us any favors.

Well, since you were not just asking a rhetorical question, we'll start here.

You never answered the question though. Who should he have donated to, if anyone, to make it palatable?

It doesn't matter that a few hundred thousand dollars is "pocket change" to him. It is still a few hundred thousand dollars. More than the net worth of a significant portion of the American Population.

What would be acceptable? Not donating the the enemies of the Republic.

I have, like many others, succeeded in not donating even pennies to the enemy. But that is because I regard them as such.

He cannot peel away layers of bureaucracy without Congress and I don't know if you heard but they hate Ted.

Funny, but Ted has had that same problem, and isn't liked because he stood his ground. Bloody embarrassing, that, when someone remembers and tries to stick to their campaign promises, it makes everyone else look bad--which is why he isn't liked. He is like the guy who wrecks the grading curve by actually earning his 'A' betting the answers right.

He gets no bills to veto on constitutional principles, rather it is a laundry list to sign or they accuse you of shutting down the government.

So? Most people, aside from the government employees union, would cheer. Enough of that threat. Besides, a 'shutdown' means sending "nonessential" personnel home. Why do we have "nonessential" employees, anyway?

If the voters and the GOP would stand behind what the voters want in the first place, such an impasse could be avoided. Now, they say it doesn't matter because Mr 'pen and phone' will just veto it, anyway.

The only possible reason anyone would demand a Constitutionalist would be so they personally feel better about their President. The office no longer has much to do with the Constitution.

Sadly, the latter justifies the former, in that the office should damned well have more to do with the Constitution, and if the Constitution was followed, I'd feel a heck of a lot better. When you start ignoring the supreme law of the land, things have a tendency to go downhill from there. The GOP majority in Congress could follow that lead. They would have a hard time with that at first, mainly because it would be new to most of them, but I think they'd catch on.

If they don't like it, they can quit and we can get people in office who would. The House (and the Senate) could use a good cleaning.

Now for a Supreme Court Justice or House or Senate member it is critical to get Constitutionalists in there, especially if there is a majority of them. But useless with someone win the White House who is going to pick Justices who aren't, or who will veto submissions by the Congress which are.

It takes two branches, but without leadership from one of them, it's useless.

Add to that that the chief means of destroying industry, economy, education, and a host of other things in America have been Cabinet level Agencies, not the least of which is the DOJ, and that top slot becomes more critical than ever.

Reread the comment. I was commenting on the absolute sh*tstorm of rebuke those who did not vote for the lesser of two evils have received for not doing so.

There is no winning with the GOPee. If you vote FOR them you get more of the same. If you vote Against them, you get Communists. If you don't vote you are told you voted for the Communists.

There is no cognitive dissonance on my part.

You never told me when the GOP Presidential primary caucuses are/were in North Dakota, so I guess you just don't understand the depth of my contempt.

I'm a hater, a trumpette, I want a dictator, I'm stupid, a cultist, and the candidate I prefer has violent rhetoric which (boo hoo, he's so mean to those Islamists and illegals) has caused the left to be violent and hatefilled, not to mention my candidate is laughing all the way to the bank. Amazing, I'm surprised I wasn't called a Benedict Arnold for switching my vote, I'm sure there are more names they can think up for me

Okay.

P.S. We lost the last one because (as I have been told, repeatedly) a significant portion of the Republican voters just didn't.

I guess that 2nd paragraph threw me, I apologize for reversing that logic. I absolutely agree that the sh!storm was ignorant ( if that is what you meant ) and I myself have been quick to lecture people on blaming us for GOPe losses ever since Perot who was the scapegoat of 1992. I voted for Bush41 a 2nd time and regret it but I immediately knew the GOPe were scoundrels when they started blaming Perot and presuming that 19% of the vote belonged to them. It was indeed common core math from the Bushies, Dolers, McCainiacs and Romney shills. And so presumptive to believe they own us.

There is no winning with the GOPee. If you vote FOR them you get more of the same. If you vote Against them, you get Communists. If you don't vote you are told you voted for the Communists.

We are in total agreement here my FRiend. Total. So the question becomes, how the hell do we crush them since we lose either way? I had no hope there was an answer here. I resigned myself at this time last year that we were screwed and this final election before our total defeat was a fait accompli. I liked Cruz but would never support a foreigner, and every other announced candidate was a well known hack.

Then Trump appeared, someone I have had in my life here in NY forever and never expected anything useful to come of it. And then I watched as he grew politically incorrect armor against the media as they attacked him viciously since the very first day.

People have already forgotten they went nuclear on day one with the "racist" crap about Mexicans ( Rand Paul and Rick Perry and Graham ) and then "anti-vet" nonsense with McCain and finally that little bitch Megyn motormouth accused him of rape on her show with BREAKING NEWS graphics, all before the first debate. He whipped these SOBs and showed how it is done. Then the uniparty paradigm was exposed when he shaped all his positions into a pro-American policy platform and everyone became apoplectic in public.

So out of nowhere I saw a sliver of a chance appear. And if you know our history you know it is always the unexpected that drives events and elections, it is never predictable, except that our current path was becoming predictable thanks to uniparty ( which really means uni-World internationalism ) and there was no stopping it.

Many of us, including the massive TEA Party unwashed masses have decided Trump is not the perfect candidate, but the perfect tool for this job at this particular time. And the job description has been immensely redefined now and clearly requires destruction of the GOPe half of the uniparty long before any decorative Constitutionalist or evangelical Conservative can again be elected to that office ( if in fact we ever can be since full-scale demographic warfare began 51 years ago ).

International feudalism is probably the end result of the world's current trajectory and it goes back a long while. They have destroyed every person who pops their head up who mentions Nationalism, anywhere in the world but definitely here in America. It has been an effective weapon to smear patriots as McCarthy or Birchers or Nazis or Racists and you better believe that this is their play to block anti-Amnesty and Open Borders and NAFTA like sellouts. Yet here comes a guy who figured out a way to neutralize their most vicious weapons. I see a slim chance for a win here.

You never told me when the GOP Presidential primary caucuses are/were in North Dakota, so I guess you just don't understand the depth of my contempt.

I'm lost on this one ( North Dakota ). All I know is that this may be the rare time that a primary isn't really decided by the time it gets up here to me in NY. Yay.

That's because there isn't one. There wasn't one, only an online 'straw poll', closed, but the results are 'unavailable'. No sh*t.

If there was another party, (aside form the damned communists), I'd vote for it.

AMEN to you all.

I’m at my happiest when we’re all on the same side, (where we belong)! I’m certain our good Lord has His hand in all of this.

Donald Trump is not the perfect man, not the perfect conservative, but I think and I believe that he is the right man at this time and that God grants his toughest soldier’s the will and strength to battle evil forces and to prevail.

We must consistently pray for Donald Trump’s safety and the safety of his family and do our part’s to see to his election.

I’m also praying for our good Lord to remove the hatred from my heart. I hate the media and so many public people right now ... lol.

God bless you all.

But but but but I thought the Donald, you know the tough guy, was perfectly capable of standing up for himself!

Cruz said the responsibility for the actions of the protesters falls on the protesters.

What do you want, jump up and down, shake his fist and yell "effing communists!"?

That is just not the way he does things.

That sort of Trumper tantrum is probably patented or trademarked by now, anyway. Then Trump supporters would call him a thief over copyright infringement or something.
