BS! That was just a counter balance statement so he can have it framed both ways and not get blamed. He clearly sided with the leftists instead of free speech.

It is just like when Trump stood next to Dr. Carson at the debate to save him from embarrassment. Although they are competitors, it was a class act. Cruz should have done the same.

You are willingly delusional. Cruz plainly gave token blame to generic protesters knowing full well they were coordinated attacks by leftist radicals and then he went on to lay the lions share of blame for their actions on Donald Trump. Lower then low. Slimy to the core.
