Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing the recent protests and violence at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rallies, Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Trump was “encouraging people to violence” and pointed to an instance where he said to “punch that guy in the face” as his proof.

Show even one entire comment with context where Trump tells his followers to punch people in the face. I can’t find such a place. I’ve heard “deserves” or “I’d like to”, but I’ve never heard “I want you all to punch”.
Certainly not, but I wouldn’t suggest punching them in the face if they did.
The protester was being escorted out of the building. Some Trump follower jumped into the aisle and punched the guy in the face. That was not self-defense.
Last Tues. I voted for Cruz. I now regret that vote and hope he gets crushed this Tues.
Trump once mused before a cheerful crowd that he would like to punch this violent disruptor in the face.
Cruz says that Trump repeatedly urges his listeners to punch peaceful protesters in the face.

Donny needs to man up and take ownership for his foolish, irresponsible, immature words. But based on his sorry track record, don’t expect him to do so. Trump is sorely lacking in character, demeanor, and temperament.
I also recall all that bullying rhetoric from Rush & Levin about Trump allegedly attacking Saint Rafael from the left. Now we’ve got Cruz and his Cruzies trying to score political points turning a USSR flag waving communists attacking us into a debate about Trump’s “tone”. It doesn’t get any more left than that. What a sad pathetic shell of a campaign Cruz is running. Simply nothing principled or conservative about it.

You must have been really outraged at all that violent Tea Party rhetoric. Did you feint when they accused Palin of the shooting in AZ, you must have agreed for her to tone it down.
Great analogy. I guarantee you not one of these Cruz supporters was parroting the leftist bullseye talking points on Palin. But now that they have skin the game with Saint Rafael all is fair I suppose. The Cruz campaign and the GOPe are intellectually bankrupt. It couldn’t be any more clear.
