OMG I could NEVER have her in some assisted living place, when I first came it was REALLY difficult both set in our own ways!! However we made it over that bump by my threatening to put her in SHADY PINES!!! LOL!!!
I am taking care of my Dad now, same thing. Had to put my foot down! LOL
We were taking care of Hubby’s Mom but she had dementia really bad and we had to put her in memory care. She doesn’t recognize us. We visit quite often.
Dad doesn’t have dementia, thank the Lord.
