What I still cannot fathom is why the GOP is willing to commit suicide to stop Trump. It defies all logic!
At the first 'debate" which was actually an inquisition, I was told in no uncertain terms that I would have to come up the ranks, be chosen for this and that, and simply going for the ring off the get go was unacceptable.
This is how the power brokers from the top down in the GOP operate.
To them, is all about power, perks, frills, associated with getting to decide who is who and what is what.
They could really not care less who wins and particular election, except if it is their hand picked candidate, they then gain more power.
Trump bypasses their whole power structure, makes them irrelevent useless as last week's newspaper.
He robs them of the whole reason for their existence, thus they will fight him as long as they are able, in an attempt to hold on to that perceived power.
