I use to be a 'Rush' cultist... Until my father died, I would give him the Limbaugh letter...for father's day. I have made it in to the 'Rush show' a couple of times... Snerdley has the most awesome beautiful laugh... Yes, I made him laugh... One of my calls was in reference to the liberal Glenn returning to space... I told Snerdley that NASA was back to experimenting on rats in space again.... But Rush was quick and I was not allowed to say that on air.
Rush turned me off cold when he read the NR piece by that liar Elliot Abrams, against Newt, back in 2012... Right before the Florida primary... See before Rush I was a C-Spam junkie... loved the 'special orders' especially when Duncan Hunter spoke... and got a big kick out of Bob Dornan... His election loss was my first introduction into the corruption of the GOPe.
By the way I cannot find that Elliot Abrams lie in the NR online.. it appears to have been wiped off cyber memory.
That was B1 Bomber Bob Dornan. Your experience resembles mine but I haven't totally given up on Rush yet but he is definitely opened up his attack game in the last week or two.
I had a e meter dish back in the day and they were expensive but was the only way I could get C-Span.
