Since it’s been a number of years since my college solid geometry classes, but would someone please state the amount of water that causes a 1.8 meter rise in the seas around the globe.

Don’t know that, but here is an alarming fact for you.

Most people think that water is incompressible, but in reality, due gasses present in the water, it can be slightly compressed. If water were indeed incompressible, the sea level would now be about 93 feet higher than it is.

Let’s hope there is no big pressure drop!
