You have to look at the racial make up of our Military as it now stands, to understand why. Brass tend to be more Liberal too especially the higher in rank they go. Not many of the older ones left where Conservatives.

This new batch don’t care if a candidate is a socialist, a liar or a Draft Dodger. They are to busy being indoctrinated in PC crap.

I personally think any one running for President should serve a 4 year hitch in the Military chose a branch, but go in as a E1. So they know what it’s really like out there for our Enlisted Men and Women.

Obviously, according to those numbers. Obama’s people have infiltrated the military during the last 8 years. And here we are fighting with each other while he pulls stealth moves like this under our noses.

There have always been liberals in the services...just that in years past, they usually kept a very low profile as their positions/beliefs weren’t in line with security requirements or the positions of their fellow servicemembers.

The services are a reflection of what society has created...unfortunately, society is running full throttle pumping out little socialist munchkins and we’ve had socialists and communists in government for some time now. They’re emboldened to be proud of their socialism and political correctness.

That this is surprising to anyone here, is, in itself, surprising.

If you’re interested in what has been happening to the USAF, follow John Q. Public...a retired officer who constantly HAMMERS the service on its nonsense.

I imagine what is happening in the USAF is also happening in the other branches, maybe just not as evident.

You would be amazed at how many Liberals are in the military these days.

Most of them joined up for the GI bill and the other benefits. The women get pregnant when a deployment is on the horizon.

Trump got the most of the Republican candidates in all four services. He also got the most among officers across all four services. The Air Force has plenty of uneducated airmen, just as the Army and Marines have plenty of college graduates, so the Officer category is more important if you want to use “educated” as a yardstick.

Although it's been 30+ years since I've been on active duty, I can say the following with relative assurance:

1. Those officers that voted for Sanders are REMFs. I can't imagine any officer that had commanded soldiers to be feelin' the Bern.

2. The Air Force has more educated airmen than you think. I was on AF bases in Germany for four years, and the young EMs were pretty sharp. I had several soldiers who took my orders well, and did their jobs, but were far less educated than their contemporaries on base.

Every branch has its share of problems, but to disparage the service of fellow American servicemembers is beyond the pale.

Please inform the family members of the crew of Spirit 03 that they’re only military because they wear a uniform...

I agree—kinda surprising. One could figure a heavy minority lean, except Bernie’s supposed to be struggling there.

I’d guess the answer is that the military is overwhelmingly young—and those are the ones gullible, brainwashed, and ignorant enough to fall for the Leftist call.

It’s the kids.

The military doesn’t teach history and esprit de corps like it used to. Lots of PC BS right from the beginning.

Trump advocates the same strategy as Reagan. Peace through superior firepower. Build up the military so much that nobody wants to mess with us.

The Democrats had us in so many ‘peace keeping’ missions that the military was stretched to the point of exhaustion. The Republicans had us in conflicts, but at least they had the grace to build up the man power and equipment enough that we could succeed.

Trump asks, “Why is this our problem” and the Republicans have a fit.

Now he’s being accused of being hawkish when that’s exactly the opposite of his stated position. And something that he’s been criticized for...

Unbelievable.

Plus sending 20 to 30 thousand troops to Syria to build his safe zone and defeat ISIS. Somehow I don't think Reagan would be in favor of that.

The Democrats had us in so many ‘peace keeping’ missions that the military was stretched to the point of exhaustion. The Republicans had us in conflicts, but at least they had the grace to build up the man power and equipment enough that we could succeed.

The military is stretched to the point of exhaustion because of 14 years of Afghanistan and Iraq. You can't lay the blame for that solely on the head of the Democrats. And you can't say that Republicans go in, win, and get out either. They've been bigger "nation builders" than the Democrats are.

Now he’s being accused of being hawkish when that’s exactly the opposite of his stated position. And something that he’s been criticized for...

His position shifts with the breeze and with whatever his whim-of-the-day is. So over the past seven years what did the Democrats get us into that the Republicans hadn't gotten us into first? Iraq? Afghanistan? What?

I've been around Air Force my entire career. They are civilians in uniform.

I've seen many field grade officers in the Air Force act, literally, like teenagers.

Walking around with stuffed animals, stickers on their purple and pink backpacks, ear buds in their ears listening to music.

IN AFGHANISTAN.

Civilians in the private sector don't even act like that.

Those are the Air Force field grade officers. Don't even get me started on the enlisted.

I've seen it. I've been around them. You can't convince me otherwise.
