The Air Force has plenty of uneducated airmen, just as the Army and Marines have plenty of college graduates, so the Officer category is more important if you want to use “educated” as a yardstick.

Although it's been 30+ years since I've been on active duty, I can say the following with relative assurance:

1. Those officers that voted for Sanders are REMFs. I can't imagine any officer that had commanded soldiers to be feelin' the Bern.

2. The Air Force has more educated airmen than you think. I was on AF bases in Germany for four years, and the young EMs were pretty sharp. I had several soldiers who took my orders well, and did their jobs, but were far less educated than their contemporaries on base.
