My ancestors immigrated to Virginia after being on the wrong side of the war between Bonnie Prince Charlie and Oliver Cromwell.
They were give the option of being buried in Scotland with their heads in different caskets or going to Virginia with only the clothes on their back but with their heads still attached. They took he Virginia option
