Mr. Rubio also probably didn’t have it in him to beg Mr. Bush, given he’d outlasted the former governor in the presidential race, the operative said.

I guess they didn’t speak to each other at the meeting.
They’re just alike. Rubio wears high heels to look taller. Bush stands on his toes.
Regardless of how you feel about Rubio or Trump, Jeb clearly believes that Trump is unsuited to be President. For him to put his butthurt before the good of the country (from his perspective), is just another reason why he did not deserve to be President.
Yeb! had too much butthurt towards Rubio to endorse him.
Not that it would have helped Amnesty Boy much.
Rubio is a flop and a failure. Hopes should sour.

In any number of ways, Marco Rubio demonstrated for all to see why he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the levers of power in this country. He’s very much a clone of Barak Obama in that he’s a excellent orator who doesn’t even need a teleprompter to speak, and he’s lazy. When he said that “he was tired of the US Senate” after not even completing one term, he told us all that he’d be a golf course president if elected. And sadly, Cruz is too much from the same mold. When both of them put on their track shoes, they were finished.
A Jeb! endorsement would have killed Jeb!’s brand.
This is not the year for establishment.
I remember last summer Trump said Jeb was a phony for saying Rubio was his “good friend”, and that he didn’t believe Jeb wasn’t really ticked off at his betrayal. Boy did he have him pegged.
Others have also noted this. Also the Bushes felt betrayed when the devious Nikki Haley endorsed Robot Rubio.
Jeb has a record of ignoring people in need.
