Donald Trump would make "a terrible nominee and a terrible president" — and The Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol said Wednesday that he would rather have Hillary Clinton in the White House than the Republican front-runner.

I will remember this come election day. I will not feel bad about pulling the lever for a straight Dem ticket.

Thank you very much Mr. Kristol - and welcome to the political graveyard along with the Whig party.

Kristol’s father, Irving Kristol was called “godfather” of neoconservatism.

wiki on neoconservatives:

A substantial number of neoconservatives were originally moderate socialists associated with the right-wing of the Socialist Party of America (SP), and its successor, Social Democrats, USA (SDUSA). Max Shachtman, a former Trotskyist theorist who developed a strong antipathy towards the New Left, had numerous devotees among SDUSA with strong links to George Meany’s AFL-CIO. Following Shachtman and Meany.....

Basically they were the progressive/socialist Dems who were so embarrassed by Jimmy Carter that they switched parties.

-——Billy Kristol obviously is a Democrat.-——

No....he is something far worse....he is a neo-con

Neo-cons are former democrats who turned republican to be able to use our blood and treasure (military and taxes) to impose democracies on other countries because the Democratic Party are basically pacifists....

Kristol is just angry because when you do a google search on "peak" and "Trump" he's all over the first page of hits that come up.

So, in the space of 40 years the Kristol family goes from liberal Democrat to neoconservative publishers of Commentary back to liberal democrat/socialist. Got it, Bill, thanks for joining us for a time. Irving would be proud.

Trump keeps smoking out the rats. I’m not surprised about Kristol. I stopped paying attention to him over a decade ago.

well...the wimps sure are being smoked out

If the neocons were wimps, we wouldn't be in this mess.

They are not. They are aggressive, they are crafty, they are disloyal, and they are working against the interests of the American people, working for a global economy and transnational political institutions, under the rubric "think of it always, speak of it never".

If only they were wimps, our task of recovery would be SO much easier.

The GOPe elites, the GOPe aristocracy, the GOPe string-pullers, the rich GOPe campaign donors, the GOPe consultancy class, the GOPe oligarchs, and the GOPe plutocrats have forgotten that this country is now a democracy.

But, really, who can blame them for forgetting, given how they’ve been able to trick the voters into sending GOP Uniparty members to Congress and the Presidency.

And now their tricks have failed them, and the voters have turned against them. Thus they are casting about for non-democratic means to retain their power, or simply fleeing to the opposition tent, hoping their kommie brethren will let them have some small seats at the far end of the table.

It’s awesome to see these machinations occur in public, instead of behind closed doors in smoke-filled rooms as in the days of yore. Yet ANOTHER salubrious result of the “Trump Effect”.

Billy K. may be letting the cat out of the bag. The gopE openly supports Hillary in the general and points out it’s bi partisan. “The country has come together!”

When people made jokes about a Clinton/Bush ticket they didn’t realize the powers were serious.

Kristol epitomizes the neo-con artistes, who are just recycled Trotskyites, who conned way too many into thinking that they are “conservatives” and that never ending wars in the Middle East is a “conservative value” should be given the boot back to the dem party from whence they came.

Bill Kristol: I Would Rather See Hillary Win Than Trump

I'm as anti-Trump as anyone on FR, and I think that's the stupidest thing I ever heard. If you are willing to vote for Hillary, for any reason, you are not a Republican and have no place in the party.

Goodbye and Good riddance to the damned neoconservatives. Take your interventionist wars with you and have your adult children fight in them, the next time.

The globalists would rather vote for a criminal life-long leftist than a real nationalist. Whatever the outcome, I don’t want to be in the same party as these scumbags.

I’ve been listening to Michael Medved (Radio host) because there is no one else at that hour. He sounds like he will be voting for Clinton. He will eventually say something like “anyone but Trump even Clinton”
