As it should be. John of Ohio should bow out.
He’s to the left of Hillary on several issues.
Might trump and Cruz finally be joining forces?
This is good news, if the Trump and Cruz campaigns can come together on this very important point.
I loathe him. A complete phony.
So the new poll should ask: What is Kasick and his supporters on, (a) LSD (b) peyote?
The culmination of that meeting last year?
So a political decision can be made if Kasich is fulfilling Hillary at the time of the convention. Is that why he’s running on a democrat platform and is confident he will be the president?
In an open convention, the delegates are wooed through incentives and negotiations.
Gee, I wonder which candidate would have the advantage in deal-making?
Against Hillary you show Bill saying after a rape, better put ice on that.
Milt? LOL
Changing rule 40(B) would require a majority vote of the delegates, and if Cruz and Trump have them it’s not happening. Even the RNC delegates are supposed to vote with winner of their state.
If Ryno & Co. try any fancy footwork to throw the election to the Democrats, to save their own hides, that’s the end of the GOP.
Of course it may be kaput anyway with Trump and Cruz driving.
It’s good to have the establishment by the short & curlies.
Fulfilling=outpolling
I think this might help Cruz, but certainly not Trump in a contested convention.
Can’t imagine why Trump agreed to this.
PS Are you mending OK after the ER?
CRUZ 2016
Trump and Cruz delegates would certainly refuse to change Rule 40 — if those delegates were actually loyal to them. Unfortunately, the local party hacks — ie. the establishment — actually picks the delegates. So they are “bound” to Trump or Cruz on the first actual “vote” but they are NOT “bound” to do as Trump or Cruz wish when it comes to rules changes.
I think if they do change Rule 40, the “dirty machine politics” aspect will be laid bare, and the GOP as a party will either fall apart or the process for designating delegates will need to be reformed. It should be ardent candidate-chosen supporters assigned as delegates, not party hacks.
