I believe that Blagojevich (for reasons I cannot imagine although I loathe the SOB) is actually wasting cell space in Supermax where they held John Gotti, the Teflon Don, until his death from throat cancer and a variety of the most dangerous terrorist Islamolooneytunes.

Perhaps Blago belongs in prison as a sort of lifetime achievement award but soliciting bids from various bad actors like Jesse Jackass, Jr., for Obozo's Senate vacancy is on a par with Dwight Eisenhower promising Earl Warren the first SCOTUS appointment (which turned out to be for Chief Justice when Fred Vinson died) in exchange for California's "favorite son" delegation voting for Eisenhower over Taft. Tricky Dick Nixon also got to be VPOTUS in that deal.

Blago's ultimate (quite temporary) appointment of the pathetic Roland Burris to the Senate seat did a LOT less damage to the USA than Eisenhower's (lifetime) appointment of Warren and choice of Nixon for VPOTUS.
