I don’t think so. I think he’s nuts and just like ted had disastrous advisors around him, Kasich has ones telling him he can do this!! pull it out!! blah blah

he does hurt Cruz. good. I hope he stays in till the end.

then when he loses he can go deliver some ####ing mail.

You are correct, and they are delusional.
I am sure Kasich sold this to the GOPe because he is a grasping career politician with dirty fingerprints on everything. This absolutely will damage Cruz, and it is BS.

I maintain there were shenanigans in the vote count last night in Missouri as a test since it was the last state. If Kasich wins anything from here on out in states with Republican Governors, it was fraud.

I also believe there were vote shenanigans in Ohio last night, as well. The man who counted the votes is the man who won? Really? He was insisting he was going to win when he was down 20 points. No way he caught that up and Cruz got so few. There is NO WAY.

Oh please, Cruz is a Bushbot. He served the establishment’s purpose and now they’ve moved on to Kasich. If you still think Ted Cruz is an outsider you’re fooling yourself.

DING! DING! DING!

I called this days ago. Kasich stole Ohio.
NO way in hell did he make up 20 points and leave Cruz with 14% of the vote. No way.

Apparently they are full speed ahead on a brokered convention...Kasich can’t win the primaries, but they hope he can deny Trump the 1237.

But they are INSANE, if they believe a stolen nomination at the convention will equal victory in November.

Exactly. Cruz has to be somewhere saying, WTH? And he burned his bridge with Trump.

I don't believe bridges ever really get burned in politics. No matter what they say, most of the attacks are for public consumption, and even if they hate each other, if there's an advantage to working together, they'll go for it. Trump and Cruz want the same thing and they'll find a way to work through their differences.

GOP Sets Up Narrative: Party’s Future Now Depends on John Kasich

Kasich is nothing more than a dem that claims to be GOP -

Pro Amnesty
Pro NAFTA
Pro TPP
Pro Off-shoring
Pro Common Core
Takes money from a NAZI (Soros)
Chief endorsements from Boehner and Romney
Pro Gun Control

But he DOES FOLLOW THE ORDERS OF PARTY BOSSES

My advice to them. Those DC denizens that still believe in God and country? Leave that place - your belongings, your dachas, your limos, parking spots and your country club memberships - and WALK out on your two feet. Repent! and do NOT look back lest you be turned to a pillar of salt. You are warned.

Good advice.

Cruz’s only (slim) hope is being the default anti-Trump in a 1 on 1. He can’t seal the deal himself and he’s sunk with another candidate to his left like Kasich in the race. Kasich wraps up AZ for Trump.

GOPe is delusional. Maybe they don’t WANT to beat Hillary.
If they finagle & put Kasich in that position, they’ll
have to twist themselves into a pretzel. (If we have to
endure a HITLERY Presidency because of their antics; the
Republican Party is dead to me.)

I support Cruz, proudly, but I am not suggesting he has a realistic chance, I merely note the following...

Rubio dropped out. Carson is out. Fiorina. Rand Paul and I could go on. Santorum dropped out and endorsed Trump, ditto Hucksterbee. These wannabes have no control over who their voters now support. If their supporters want to be players, they have to pick someone and do the political stuff.

Cruz will benefit from this.

Remember as well, it is delegates and not states that decide. Some states have winner take all, a lot have proportional by congressional district. To date, Cruz has already won more delegates than one would expect if one looks only at states won and not delegates.

If people want a choice and not be told by the powers in DC that it must be Kasich and/or Ryan at a brokered convention, then they have to choose between Trump and Cruz.

It really is that simple.

That doesn’t mean Cruz wins the day.

It just means that voters all along should have seen this. It was staring them right in the face. But by now it has become startlingly obvious, if you do not want Trump you vote for Ted. Or you fold your hands and sit home.

Polls have shown that if the GOP rank and file are asked, if you had to vote between Trump and Cruz, who gets your vote, Cruz wins that imaginary matchup.

It isn’t really imaginary. It is real. But people have been too confused and distracted to see it.

This announcement could just as easily have come from the DNC.

It sounds like the new happy turtle Gov Kasich has been assured by Soros Inc that he is in the bag and no compromise is necessary

I thought they would wait until closer to the convention to throw Cruz under the bus. Maybe they will dangle VP in front of him, like a pork chop to a starving dog- but I think they want to save it for Jeb who is now jobless

I registered Republican to be able to vote in our primary but will probably switch back to Independent. I am disgusted with the Republican Party. When given the power to oppose a liberal and damaging agenda to the United States, they folded. And for what? Political correctness? Meanwhile the United States continued a downward spiral in education, personal rights, world standing, manufacturing, race relations, etc.

Kasich got less than 10% of the vote in all the States last night except his home state of Ohio.
