Republicans Enter a Shadow Campaign to Sew Up Delegates
NYT ^ | March 16, 2016 | Trip Gabriel

With more than half the states having now held their nominating contests, Donald J. Trump and Senator Ted Cruz are quietly directing their attention to a second, shadow election campaign — one that is out of sight, little understood but absolutely critical if Republicans arrive at their national convention with Mr. Trump short of a majority of delegates.

...

For Mr. Trump, the problem is that a delegate may be pledged to back one candidate, based on the results of a primary or caucus, but may be loyal to another. So Mr. Trump could see the tide turn to a rival’s favor on second and third ballots if he fails to hold the allegiance of delegates pledged to him.

...

The Trump campaign seems to have recently awakened to this possibility. On Friday, it announced a new “delegate selection team” of four people, led by Ed Brookover, a former campaign manager for Ben Carson with long experience as a Republican operative.

Mr. Brookover said the campaign was working to get Trump supporters selected as delegates, including in Georgia, building on state operations in place during primaries and caucuses.

“The good news is, in going through my review of Mr. Trump’s operations in these states, these folks have not dropped the ball,” he said.

A handful of states and territories give candidates a direct say in naming delegates, but 44 states do not, and those account for about 73 percent of all delegates, according to Benjamin Ginsberg, who was the national counsel to Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign.

Massive political civil war developing. Makes one wonder why all of this is happening. The entire system must be completely corrupt. If the people could be made to see the depth of the corruption, they could not be held back from clearing all of these evil, selfish people out of their ivory tower positions.

When a certain dominionist candidate has been raised up as the annointed one, his zeal to win at any cost must not be underestimated.

A Pyrrhic victory is still a victory

The problem is most Americans slept through their highschool civics class. Oh, I apologize, civics is no longer taught is it? What was it replaced with? Maybe LTGB Sensitives, White Entitlement Sucks, Black Lives Matter -Screw The Rest?

The big battle will not be holding onto their own delegates but going after delegates pledged to candidates that have “suspended” their campaigns.

It’s going to be time for our elected “representatives”(?) to start getting back to representing the will of the people. They’ve become so embroiled in the folderol of their political world that they’ve completely forgotten why they’re there.

If I were Trump, I would make a deal with Cruz and his people right about now. They've been focused on organization and turn-out for longer. And the two of them together would wrap up the Reagan Democrats (Trump), the hard-core conservatives (Cruz), and the fascinated onlookers who probably haven't voted till this year (Trump). That has to be 5/8 of the electorate.

It leaves out Stalinist sleep-walkers, dead people and stolen IDs, which is the other 3/8 for Hillary.

The remainder is 0. That's because the GOPe has no actual voters.

Ed Rollins on Lou Dobbs said that guy in North Dakota was nuts

Most States have rules like Florida for the first 3 votes their 99 delegates are pledged to Trump.

He understands the 8 states rule with Kacish that Cruz and Trump has already said neither are willing to let that changed and Kacish can't make it to the floor.

So he call him delusional and that Kacish has camped out in Pa. even though Trump won every county on that Ohio /Border.

The charade is up, the curtain pulled back. The republican party only pretends that your vote counts. They decided the nominee before the primaries.

Conservatives are to the republican party what blacks are to the democrat party.

The elitist pole smokers in the gop-e don't know how much fire they are playing with. They will destroy the republican party if they cheat Trump or anyone else out of the nomination. They can only see Trump through their tunnel vision. They don't see the millions of his followers who are sick of yellow politicians.

Conservatives are to the republican party what blacks are to the democrat party.

Say what?! You've got that completely backwards. Conservatives are a pariah to the Republican Party. Blacks are steadfastly loyal to the Democrat Party.

What’s wrong with Infowars? You’re doing just what the GOPe is doing, and the media: trying to tar Trump with negative buzzwords.

This video happens to be excellent, with not just opinion but hard facts coming out. Watch and gain a few serious points, as the groups cited above try to legitimize stealing an election from the voters, just as NAMBLA tries to legitimize child rape:
