What happens to Catholicism when the elected Pope is a ‘humanist’ that wants to change the Church in ways that will probably not contribute to its continuation?

Once you begin down the road that all religions are basically the same, then what is the point of becoming a Catholic or maintaining ties of worship in that Church.

I’m not a Catholic. Not anything really except maybe a Deist which would put me in that humanist camp I suppose—but even I can see that the path apparently chosen by the new Pope is a major surrender to secular humanism in the name of supporting the poor.

There are apparently a lot of Catholics on this site who post regular stuff from Church leaders so maybe one can explain this apparent phenomenon.

The Pope is an idiot and is undermining the Catholic Church much like Obama is undermining the USA. Obama is doing it intentionally while this guy is even more stupid that the last Pope. Both have people following them around trying to clean up their utterances. “ no that is not what he meant when he said ______” “No that is not what he said. He really said this _____. the recording is wrong (does not fit the narrative)”

Oddly, no one seems to be trying to get into the various African countries. Nor into South American countries, other than an entry point to the USA. Why are they not trying to break into Russia, Kenya, Gabon, etc. When you are supposedly in danger then any port will do.
