Trump won 37% of all votes cast thus far in the Primary - 7,548,429 and that has resulted in nearly 30% of the delegates -—> 696 delegates.
Cruz won 27% of all votes for a total of 5,484,494 and that has resulted in 18% of the delegates —> 424 delegates.
The race is >60% over. Of the remaining available state delegates, about 900 will be firm pledged delegates.
Ted must win 813 more delegates and 4 more majority state delegations.
Ted can lose up to 93 of the future delegates and still possibly win.
Now the delegate math gets a whole lot harder in order to win or even catch up to the current status of the leader.
CRUZ IS NOT PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL FOR SEVERAL REASONS
<><>The single most disturbing aspect of this guy.....Tuesday night, Cruz acted like he was making a victory speech on a night that proved his campaign is a delusional disaster.
<><> After each significant loss he makes a victory speech.....like HE was the winner.
<><> losing killed off Cruz/s cognitive brain cells.
<><> Wall Street/s ultimate insider couple, Ted and Heidi. A two-fer....like we need a serving of warmed-over Clintons.
<><> And there/s Ted/s top political guru---his Dominionist Dad who preaches that religions belongs in every aspect of govt.
<><> What govt job would Cruz be planning for his Dad in Washington?
Thanks, but no thanks, Ted, go back to your (cough) stellar career in the Senate.
It makes a Yuge difference. That’s why Trump has 2.1 million more votes than Ted has accumulated.
Ted sought isolated closed caucus environments because it’s the only chance he ever had to win and carry any state but his own or one or two others.
Win a state by a few hundred votes, possibly a few thousand? It’s a matter of rounding them up and scooting them out the door. Does Wyoming even holds an election? Colorado?
If trump does not get to 1237. then the guys need to team up so that all our efforts are not wasted
State delegates are apparently teaming up in Tennessee to only support Trump or Cruz when push comes to shove and not vote to support any other new candidates.
