As recently as 2012 Trump was criticizing Romney for being too tough on illegals. Said Romney's "self-deportation" ideas were too harsh.

I hope Trump's recent late-in-life 180 on borders and immigration is sincere and not just something he cooked up for the GOP primary. Hope too, that the leaks about him telling the NY Times just that aren't true. A lot of hope going on here.
