I remember (probably a long time ago) really enjoying Glenn Beck on the radio.
Not sure what happened to him.
He adopted the steady-state Howard Beale model.
From Wikipedia:
"At the time of Finch's death, he was doing a promotional tour for the Sidney Lumet film Network (1976) in which he plays the television anchorman Howard Beale who develops messianic pretensions."
He was a drunk back then, and much more entertaining. Now he’s a Mormon and crazy as a bedbug.
Just absolute stupidity.
Beck needs a nice small cell with some padded walls.
His whole act got much less funny when he went on TV. His radio show used to be hilarious, edgy stuff. Then he got a whole new TV audience and dropped the funny stuff, and the new audience didn’t know the radio show. Somehow he let the crappy TV shows influence the radio act, it became almost all hysterical crying and moaning that bad stuff was going to happen at supposed critical junctures.

If I remember correctly, wasn’t Beck up in arms over the possibility of Obama being born in Kenya therefore making him ineligible to run? And if memory serves me, the overwhelming majority of Republicans/Conservatives also believed Obama to be born in Kenya? So where is the outrage over Cruz who we know without doubt was born in another country, lived there for 4 years, and whose father was not a US citizen. Goodness, we can be as hypocritical as the Dems.
Oh me too. It was back during the Terri Schiavo incident. I saw him in the courthouse with judge Greer presiding. I really enjoyed him for a few years later and then something happened to him. I watched his show on fox a lot. Seems like right after that he went spooky.
The last stages of syphilis.
I don’t listen to him but catch him once in awhile.
Everything is so omg, hyperbolic, super urgent, teenage girl. He’s like the govt and the media - constant crises and dangers that simply must be addressed immediately if not last week.
The eventual outcome has to be indifference by most people. That’s probably the plan.
My guess, he’s on, or off the meds. Not sure which. But if I had to guess, I’d say off.
I remember a long time ago really enjoying Beck on his TV show.....but that was the end of Beck for me.
I remember tuning out Glenn's new radio show a long time ago because it was and is a towering babble of silliness, giggles, inane repartee between he and his clueless co-hosts, and most recently, is show is non-stop gusher of anti-Trump filth, venom and hatred.
I never look back yesterday, today or tomorrow on Beck because he's become too mentally unstable to be on the public airwaves and he doesn't seem to know it...and it's too painful and disgusting to listen to his Lord HeeHaw rantings.

It may be the result of medical malpractice. Several years ago, and with great fanfare, Glenn had an operation on his ass. I believe the surgeon removed a critical part of Glenn’s brain rather than the offending hemorrhoid.
it’s been shown repeatedly that heavy cocaine usage results in irreversible brain damage.
That’s what’s happening with Beck.
