When the senate decided not to call witnesses for a Bill Clinton trial , it was Lott , Hatch , Kay Bailey Hutchison and Phil Gramm that made the decision. Gramm was the only one that wanted to call witnesses. The rest said no and Clinton skated .
I don’t disagree that Gramm was one of the good guys when he served in the Senate. I remember his heroic stand to block HillaryCare. However, since he left the Senate Phil has been all establishment, all the time.
