Friday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” op-ed columnist for The Washington Post, Michael Gerson said when he talks to Republicans it has become “therapy sessions” over anxiety caused by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s success.
Gerson said, “Yeah, every group of Republicans that I meet with now, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are therapy sessions. People wondering how they deal with this fact because it’s not just a political decision here, it’s a moral one. There’s a candidate who’s placed exclusion at the center, at the heart of the Republican message. That’s causing people real concerns. What do you do? Do you sit it out? Do you support a third party candidate? Do you support Hillary Clinton, which might be possible.”
He added, “Look at the pathetic example of Chris Christie and the way he looks in this, and these are horrible, impossible choices that Republicans are talking about all the time.”

The masks are practically littering the streets, there are so many of them falling. It’s quite revealing, and even breathtaking in some instances.
It’s almost painful to see how deep and widespread the betrayal is.

I have yet to meet a Republican (a regular Joe) that had a problem with the idea of Trump as president. Even those that support another Republican candidate are OK with Trump if he is the one in November.
I take the same position regarding any of the Republican candidates; any of them is preferable to any Democrat (by a huge margin).

Michael Gerson needs to hop in his car and talk to people OUTSIDE of Washington DC. He can head out toward the West and stop every hundred miles for the next few weeks and TALK TO EVERYDAY Americans... There really IS a world outside of DC Elite rip-offs living off the tax payer gravy train....
Exclusion is not a winning election strategy.
I was referring to excluding illegals and Muslims from our country, not voters from the GOP.
