That's just it. Who are you going to hire who has a frigging clue as to what is going on (IOW, has the clearances to even know), without stepping in the CFR pool somewhere? I mean, if Chelsea Clinton is a member, (what did she do?), it has to be pretty easy get in, provided you have connections, and Washington advancement is all about connections. No one goes anywhere without them, and no one gets in a position to know what is going on if you don't advance.
