Whoever Hillary's VP is will be President by 2019. The GOPe hissy fit is going to give HRC the election and then either her health or her legal troubles will hand the reins to whoever her VP is.

Elected officials have no “legal obligation” to conduct their affairs in a way which is consistent with the desires of those who place them in office either. I understand the mechanics of the convention (BTW “legally, the party can change the rules at any time). If your argument is pushed into the domain of elected officials, then we have no grounds for complaining about the nation being betrayed by the establishment. I’m sure that you will say the ballot box is the remedy. Given the level of establishment control over the process we have found that the old Soviet Politburo had a higher turnover that the turnover of House and Senate seats.

It’s not shenanigans. The rules have been there since before trump. You vote, if you don’t have 1,237 delegates they vote again and again and again until someone has 1,237 and after the first vote they can vote for whomever they choose. That’s not new. Having the most delegates is not the same as having 1,237.

Ted needs to drop out now if he ever wants to be president in the future.
Besides Trump is gong to have the delegates he needs.

And if Trump has the delegates then there is no issue. It all works for him.

Trump will need more than the nominal 1,237 delegates. He will need enough more that he can afford to lose some delegates from betrayal. If he has excess delegates, then there is less incentive to betray Trump, if he will win anyway, and the traitor will feel some wrath.

I can see that happening if Trump is not leading in the delegate count.
Nonsense. Not going to happen because Trump can push the GOP destruct button on his phone and a lot of GOPers would be unemployed.

In other news, the Wall Street Journal reports that monkeys could fly out of my butt.
It is possible, we have to consider that it could happen.
Guys, Trump has won the nomination. The unending speculation about other outcomes is getting quite boring.
To: Junk Silver
But you felt a need to post here to refute such. Why?
