The Left continues to pull these stunts cuz they know Conservatives believe in ORDER. They feel they’re physically SAFE.
When instead they believe they are UNsafe, this type of stunt will STOP.
It’s SIMPLE.
The BLM guys did this in Santa Cruz, Calif. about 7 months ago.
In that case, they interlinked arms inside of heavy iron piping that transitted garbage cans filled with concrete.
The Highway Patrol had to clear it —taking many hours— and there was no violence.
The catch was that some very influential, rich tech people had been hugely delayed and they later brought legal resources to bear —tort suits.
The hurt put on those dirt-head lefties was not physical but on the legal level it was very extreme.
We heard very many follow-up stories on the radio about those suits. It seems like they really sicced a really expensive Lawyer Party on their a$$es.

The End of Civilization
Uncivilized people have an advantage over civilized. A barbarian is willing to take your life, or that of your spouse or children, to get something you possess-even a cheap possession. You, of course, value life more than any possession so you give him whatever he demands. He uses your commitment to higher values to gain power over you. The uncivilized lack scruples so there is nothing to prevent them from doing evil things to gain the advantage.
They don’t understand, nor do they care that the existence of the world depends on civilized conduct within communities. The past year has seen a litany of attacks on civilized society. Paris, Calais, Sweden, Ferguson, Baltimore. The uncivilized have threatened the core of free society. They are willing to destroy a man’s business simply to take a can of beans. In doing so they make all of us slaves to barbarians.
The Rule of Law has no meaning to the uncivilized because they lack the ability to reason. The Apostle Peter had strong words for such people. He condemned those who “despise authority.” (2 Peter 2:10) In verse 12 he writes, “these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct....”
This characterization reveals the core of Christianity. By creating man in God’s own image He conferred an incredible gift-one, in fact, that we exercise as we read the opinions of other men. It is the ability to reason through difficulties and problems. He gave this gift to no other being in the earthly creation. It enables a society of men to live under the Rule of Law. But the Rule of Law can only be applied to civilized man.
This divine spiritual gift came with the expectation that man would use it. The rest of verse 12 says that men who act as unreasoning animals are “born to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.” Peter is saying that men are born to use the gift of God to imitate the character of God. Those who choose to act like animals will die like animals.
I confess that I’ve had to struggle with that concept. Once while standing on the beach in Florida watching the seagulls dive and scoop up fish I was fascinated by the way nature operates. But the law of nature seemed unfair to the fish. There he was peacefully swimming when suddenly he is dinner for the seagull.
I wanted to yell, “Don’t let those seagulls do that to you. You fish need to take those seagulls to court!” But animals weren’t given the same spirit that humans were given. Which is exactly the point Peter is making. Only man was given such a gift and God expects he will use it or face the same fate as the animals. In fact, the fish that was eaten was searching for dinner himself when he became dinner for another animal. It’s the law of animals.
Christian thought is the core of a civilized society. When Paul writes to Timothy he states unequivocally, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) The goal for mankind is to be converted from the mind of an animal to the mind of God. It’s the only hope for civilization to continue.
