I don't think that's true. I just think she's at that age where getting kissed by daddy isn't 'cute' anymore, and she has probably had to endure it over and over and over every time she gets off the bus and she's fed up with it.
The only part that bothers me is that Ted would feel he HAS to do it for photo ops to win the election.
Dragging these kids around the country on a campaign bus should be considered child abuse ... i’m sure they will grow up very well adjusted
