Let’s talk about issues. Has the mere accumulation of wealth turned into a badge of dishonor on this web site? If Cruz is right on the issues, it doesn’t matter how wealthy his supporters are, as long as their wealth hasn’t been gained by theft or monopoly.

Not at all, obviously, or Trump would not be supported on FR.

It's the hold these people have over him. These are classic insider influence peddlers,
all part of the GOPE.

The wealth of his supporters is not an issue. Their agendas and loyalties are.

Problem is they do what their donors tell them to do.

TPP, etc. The GOPe doesn’t support the American worker, or for that matter the safety of the American citizen...at least from what I can tell.

Consequenty I personally care where the money comes from because it defines the candidates future actions.

If this isn't a joke, you're one ignorant person. Wealthy insiders and the well connect don't hand over tens of millions because they likes the way Cruz looks. It's paid influence to own and control. It what put the GD country into decline. Loser leadership.

Professional law clerks turned politicians should wear uniforms like NASCAR drivers, so we know who their corporate sponsors are. It's that GD corrupt.

Don’t you know? We don’t have substantive debates on FR anymore.

Then it doesn’t matter who finances Hillary or Obama does it? You know, as long as the donor hasn’t been gained by theft or monopoly.

After all, it’s just a mere coincidence who supports who for why, right? It means nothing at all if it’s the GOPe/RINO/consultancy class/rich oligarchs/rich plutocrats who are buying, eh, supporting with huge “donations”, an establishment candidate like Bush, Rubio, or Cruz, right?

And of course, none of these candidates being bought, uh, I mean “donated” to, owe anything at all to their purchasers, uh, I mean their “donors”, right? Hillary, Obama, Cruz, et. al., won’t owe a single favor to their “donors” will they? Which is why it matters not a single whit who such “donors” are or why they are donating.

Cruz has never accomplished anything and he is a junior senator. His stance on issues are no more relevant than Obama’s was. It might be different if Cruz had a single accomplishment other than voting for TPA cloture and helping to defeat the bill to block China on TPP, it might be different.

But there’s no reason for voters to just take Cruz’s stump speech as gospel. In reality, he’s another empty suit.

People don’t donate to politicians out of the kindness of their hearts. They always expect something in return.

Wrong. Having obtained wealth, how do they try to keep it? By shutting out others from the same path they took?

That has made me upset, too. I thought wealth was okay around here, too, at one time, but all of sudden it seems like we're over-run with 99%ers.

IF Cruz's supporters are evil because they are wealthy, what about Trump's supporters? Oh, he is self financed? All the more reason for concern. He is only beholden to himself. Absolute power. etc.

And as long as there is not quid-pro-quo for the use of that wealth. One possible example of quid-pro-quo is Ted Cruz’s vote for TPA so Obama could negotiate the TPP.
