ATLANTA - The day before Arizona Republicans cast their ballots, a new poll for FOX 5 and sister station FOX 10 Phoenix shows businessman Donald Trump is poised to win the Arizona primary with nearly 50% of the vote.

The poll conducted by Opinion Savvy shows Trump at 46%, ahead of Texas Senator Ted Cruz at 33%.

The poll shows the race narrows among early voters with Trump at 44% to Cruz’s 38%.

Opinion Savvy Founder and Managing Partner Matt Towery, Jr. said, “It is not expected that the race will come to such slim margins, as many Trump supporters eschew early voting, instead showing up on election day.

If Kasich is truly trying to win at a contested convention then he needs to make sure that we actually get a contested convention. What he is doing at the moment is actually making it less likely that we will get a contested convention.

He should be campaigning in liberal NE states where Cruz is not as competitive and not actively campaigning in states that Cruz can beat Trump in like Utah and Arizona. At the moment the only thing that his campaign is doing is giving Trump more delegates.

Kasich should be limiting his campaigning to those NE liberal states and not campaigning in the West where he is running a very distant third. Similarily, Cruz should not campaign in the liberal NE states where he runs a distant third. That is the way to deny Trump enough delegates and force a contested convention. I am not sure why all the candidates are unwilling to coordinate and win.

“Trump (Populism) / Cruz (Conservatism) / Kasich (should have run as a Democrat Republicanism)”

Trump (Populism) / Cruz (GOPE Mole) / K-sick (should have run as a Democrat)

There, fixed it.

Kasich is helping Trump by picking up 15 to 20 % of the vote in Arizona and Utah that would otherwise go heavily toward Cruz and could possibly give him the win in Arizona a winner take all state. These voters may also determine whether Cruz gets over 50% and all the delegates in Utah or just 49% and Trump gets a few more delegates.

Using your logic if Trump was really a Conservative he should work to Help Cruz instead of fight him.

Using your logic if Cruz was really a Conservative he would not have campaigned to fast Track Barack Obama’s TPP or voted for the treaty clause busting Corker bill.

Why?

TRUMP is leading. Cruz is not.

It is a matter of opinion that Cruz is “conservative”.

His words are positively conservative and he has alos performed pony tricks that appear conservative, but then you look at his record (and Heidi-hidey’s) record, and the North American Union connections, and the globalist connections, and the globalist campaign donors, and the Establishment duty he has paid to McConnell, and then look at his actual senate accomplishments for “conservatives”, and all you got is bumpkis.

You got words and pony tricks and NADA on the rest. And..... keeping some very bad company.

I call cRUSE a TROJAN HORSE— par excell’ance.

I tried to tell my friends and family last week that a vote for Kasich is a vote for Trump, but because I was a Trump supporter they wouldn’t believe me.

All they did was energize Kasich.

I understand that at one point Ted Cruz funded Carly Fiorina. It was a strategic move on his part, and given that Ted is still in the race, it must have been a smart move.

It would make sense for Trump to keep Kasich in the race. There’s always a danger involved, but I doubt Kasich will rise.

119 Consecutive Days FRumpters call upon Everyone to stop making it so hard for Trump to win.

...at least since Iowa for sure.

Just get to 1,237 delegates, then get Ted Cruz support and that of his supporters.

Using your logic if Trump was really a Conservative
I don't know why you people keep pushing that falsehood. First you said he's populist then pretend someone says he's conservative. Trumps political goals couldn't be more conservative.

Since you brought it up, conservatism died when (read my lips, thousand points of light, new world order) GHW Bush killed it after he was elected to a one term Presidency.

Name ONE truly conservative agenda that has passed in the last 30+ yrs....Just one. OH wait! I know, Bush's temporary by law tax cuts (with out of control spending) BFD.

Ted Cruz has done absolutely nothing with his position as a (pretend US) Senator except give Obama authority to negotiate a anti-Israeli nuclear deal with Iran...Thanks a lot Senator I hope that (political) bomb drops on your head someday.

Teddy Cruz’s response to the Chicago disrupters made me question his claims to being conservative.

I too think the picture was crystal clear on Tedlit, as captured for the world to get a clue in his opportunistic hypocrisy, on LIVE TV. Blech.

Work with Trump? You realize they are both running for the same office, right?

I swear I’m in the Twilight Zone with some these comments.

“Kasich is going to hand it to Trump. I wonder if Trump is somehow paying him behind the scenes because all he is doing by staying in is helping Trump.”

So you think if Kasich dropped out, 100% of the votes going to this Easterner would go to Cruz.

May not be enough. Often Trump under-performs the polls and Cruz over-performs due to one having a ground game and the other not so much.

“If Cruz was really anti-Establishment, then he would work with Trump. Instead he fights him.”

Cruzers don’t want to hear this.

Sound familiar?

..that was you 2 minutes ago, Post # 3, not discussing Ruppert Murdoch OWNED media outlets.

Now who is the dishonest one? ... That be YOU.
