LOL! How many voters have never changed in 40 years? It is TRUMP who is getting the Independents and moderate Democrats and the Evangelicals. Lots of those Evangelicals today were subject to change over the course of 40 years.
Many of them “get” TRUMP. And Cruz was never known to be anyone but a full blown moderate, until he saw the TEA PARTY go by in TEXAS. (And the BECK cult.)
He rode that baby all the way to the US Senate, dumped a few pony tricks, and before his first term was over he was off to the nomination, seen with religious right hands laid on him, riding the rubes in a ridiculous run for the nomination.
