Jeb Bush endorses Cruz as a 'consistent, principled conservative'

Jeb Bush early Wednesday endorsed Ted Cruz’s Republican presidential bid, calling the Texas senator a “consistent, principled conservative.”

Bush, who ended his own campaign last month, said Cruz has “has demonstrated the ability to appeal to voters and win primary contests.”

“Washington is broken, and the only way Republicans can hope to win back the White House and put our nation on a better path is to support a nominee who can articulate how conservative policies will help people rise up and reach their full potential," the former Florida governor said.

Bush called on Republicans to “overcome the divisiveness and vulgarity has brought to the political arena” or risk losing the White House.

“To win, Republicans need to make this election about proposing solutions to the many challenges we face, and I believe that we should vote for Ted as he will do just that,” Bush added.

Bush’s endorsement follows Cruz’s win in Tuesday’s Utah caucuses, where he won all 40 of the state’s delegates.

And here comes the Cruz dopes rationalizing, making excuses, and otherwise embracing the Gope.

Watch these monkeys dance harder than they’ve ever danced before.

He got a lousy t-shirt and now he has to endorse a guy whose guts he hates.

But if Cruz doesn’t get the nomination, its not like Jeb has lost a bet.

No, the Bushes haven’t yet released their vise-like death grip upon the GOP.

I'm amazed it took this long for Cruz to get Bush's endorsement.

You can rest assured that the delay was only because Jeb took his time in single-handedly confirming that Ted's understanding of constitutional conservatism is fully compatible with the traditional Bush Family standards.

And you will agree, then, that dual citizenship held within the last 2 years meets the Constitutional standard for Office of President of the USA, right?

The putrid stink of warmed over Bush is now overwhelming.

The Bushes must be uprooted root and branch, along with the Stealth Bushes.

I understand that you must spin this but the fact remains this will go a long way toward bringing 2/3rds of the base (that know Trump isn’t a conservative) together.

Who are you trying to kid? You are now supporting the candidate endorsed by JEB BUSH, ROMNEY, GRAHAM and the GOP establishment who have p*ssed all over Republican voters for decades!!

Cruz is a sell out, and so are you.

GOPe candidate? Bullshit...

Candidates don’t control who endorses them... I guess since David Duke endorsed Trump then he’s the KKK candidate by your F’ed up logic?

I’m a Cruz supporter. I also loath Jeb Bush. So I don’t like the idea of Bush and Cruz’s names appearing in the same sentence. OTOH, the broader GOP electorate isn’t me and it isn’t FR either. Out in the world the Jeb endorsement is probably a tiny net plus.

Regardless - we don’t need to call the poster a drug user.

Cruz isn’t eligible and they all know it - I suppose at this point they figure they will just have to get away with it. Not too principled in my opinion.

Since Jeb barely got any votes I don’t see how this will help - instead it shows that Cruz is really GOPe despite his talk.

Keep spinning.

I’m sure when Cruz tweets how happy he is to get this, just like he did with Romney, you will have to find a new talking point to run to.

And how, pray tell, did you think Trump would win?

With democrats?

Donald would have welcomed Bush’s endorsement the same way he welcomed Carson’s and Christie’s.

The problem for the Donald though is, Jeb doesn’t need Trump to have a future.

That’s OK... the “mighty” Trump continues to garner his less than 50% support while his “fans” take it upon themselves to CONSTANTLY beat-down upon those that they’ll need later to vote for THEM...

It’s OK... I was new to politics once myself...

TrumpTARDS are ALL the same...

“Donald would have welcomed Bush’s endorsement the same way he welcomed Carson’s and Christie’s”

And you know this how?

Oh yeah, you don’t.

You just are stuck having to shuck and jive this, and the only way you can is to make up a scenario that doesn’t exist.

The reality is that he is backing Cruz like Romney is and you are PLEASED to be on team Gope.

So wear it proud.

According to a neighbor Cruz’s mother had renounced her US citizenship. So then Cruz would be the son of two Canadians and born in Canada.

The neighbor has stated her case and this information is verifiable and of course Hillary will do it.

” And as a neighbor to Elanor I know more that I am sure Cruz does not want told but the Consulate in Calgary Alberta has no problem in stating she could not and did not record his birth with them as she was not American at the time of his birth. She could not have been for as many years as she lived in Canada with out visas being issued, All records previously stated are public records you however must send in a written request to obtain copies, Unlike the Us this is all public record for a fee.

I lived next door to Elanor Elizabeth Wilson for many years I was present when she went to Canada Immigration in 1968 and denounced her US Citizenship and surrendered her US Passport. she at that time was given Canadian Citizenship she went directly from there to the Canada Manpower Office and obtained a Canadian Social Insurance number, she then went to Alberta Health and obtained Alberta Health care, she also registered to Vote in the Canadian elections and did so as a Canadian citizen no Americans can vote in Canadian elections, nor can they hold Alberta Health coverage nor reside in Canada that long with out being deported for over staying her visa, she was American at the time of his birth I know I was there, I know too she went to the American Consulate in Calgary she was told she had given up her citizenship and her children had no status in the United States.

She used her birth certificate to reenter the US under false pretenses as a US citizen in 1974 and did not let on she had denounced her citizenship I expect. But I can prove by consulate records, voters records, Alberta health care records, Immigration of Canada records, Social Insurance records{basically the same as social security in the states} that she was no longer American at the time of his birth but Canadian and had not reapplied to get her citizenship back either.

Cruz whole claim to American Citizenship is false he is not American, and even by the American Immigration Laws he gave up being American when he turned 22 and had not denounced his Canadian status before then. by the Laws of immigration you must choose by the 21st birthday there is no holding duel citizenship in the US beyond 21 years of age. notarized copies of all these records are now filed with the Court of Queens bench in safe keeping so that no one can make them disappear as well as having been turned over to American Authorities whom we did not trust to investigate this matter as well, so we also sent to England copies of these notarized documents so they can not be destroyed or gotten rid of…..”
