Jeb Bush endorses Cruz as a 'consistent, principled conservative'

Jeb Bush early Wednesday endorsed Ted Cruz’s Republican presidential bid, calling the Texas senator a “consistent, principled conservative.”

Bush, who ended his own campaign last month, said Cruz has “has demonstrated the ability to appeal to voters and win primary contests.”

“Washington is broken, and the only way Republicans can hope to win back the White House and put our nation on a better path is to support a nominee who can articulate how conservative policies will help people rise up and reach their full potential," the former Florida governor said.

Bush called on Republicans to “overcome the divisiveness and vulgarity has brought to the political arena” or risk losing the White House.

“To win, Republicans need to make this election about proposing solutions to the many challenges we face, and I believe that we should vote for Ted as he will do just that,” Bush added.

Bush’s endorsement follows Cruz’s win in Tuesday’s Utah caucuses, where he won all 40 of the state’s delegates.

Did this happen?

______

Following primary wins in Michigan, Mississippi, and Hawaii Tuesday night, Donald Trump called on establishment Republicans to quit the in fighting and rally behind him.

“I’d say, let’s come together folks. We’re going to win,” Trump said during his victory speech.

Hey CruzBot, Duke never endorsed Trump, that’s on the record and Trump denounced it anyway.

And even IF Duke had endorsed Trump, Duke was not and would never be an influential voice within the GOP establishment like Bush, Romney, Graham and all the rest of the RINO scum bags that you are now supporting by your apologist drivel in behalf of the ‘insider’ Ted Cruz.

Go back to bed and pull the covers over your head Sparky, it’s gonna be a long day for you and your fellow Cruz Worshipers.

Cruz loses virtually every southern state, and many key swing states, sometimes coming in third.

By people like you think calling people “trumptards” will cause them to show up in November to vote for Cruz?

Bet you think that sweet Gope love is going to win Cruz a bunch of states, don’t you?

We are fighting the establishment. You guys are embracing them. So dont look for a lot of love for Ted now that he is one of them.

Donald has asked the GOP to come together and support him.

Which is a normal thing for a front runner to do.

YOU on the other hand seem to be unable to comprehend the utter hypocrisy of people like BUSH, ROMNEY, GRAHAM et al, who don't have a conservative bone in their bodies, trying to rally behind Lyin' Ted Cruz in an effort to STOP the front runner!!

“Candidates don’t control who endorses them... I guess since David Duke endorsed Trump then he’s the KKK candidate by your F’ed up logic?”

David Duke never endorsed Donald Trump. That is a lie made up by the media. Trump disavowed dukes support. And Trump didn't appoint David Duke's brother and several of his supporters to run his campaign.

The Cruz campaign is run by Neil Bush and several other Bush campaign operatives. Cruz has been trying to get Jeb’s endorsement since Jeb dropped out.

If you don't think the Bushes required some quid pro quo from Cruz in return for this endorsement then you are naive.

So?

He isn’t hiring Bushes or tapping into Gope resources now, is he?

And he doesn’t need them to win states. He wins them with both the Gope and the Media going after him and his supporters, sometimes physically.

That is not a substantive reply.

This is a serious issue. If Cruz is somehow installed as the nominee we will hear a lot more about it.

You apparently didn’t read through what I posted. You should.

Spoken like a true “fan”...

Hopefully Trump won’t make it to 1237... Nothing would give me greater pleasure than watching ALL TrumpTARDS along with Democrats who voted in Republican primaries “broomed” aside where they belong...

I’m sure that some great gymnastics you preform to get Trump who for 40 YEARS was just like Democrats to look like a “republican”...
