just setting the record straight, “dual” citizenship is not a constitutional issue. It may do some damage in the media.

The issue is that Ted was born in CANADA to a CUBAN citizen father.

He is a natural born “Cuban citizen”, who was born in Canada (a foreign country).

The fact that another nation (or TWO) bestowed their country’s citizenship upon Ted isn’t the issue. It’s about Ted’s UNITED STATES citizenship and whether Ted meets the “natural born” constitutional eligibility to be president. Which he does NOT, for TWO reasons. He was not “born in the country” (The United States) by parentS (2, plural) who were citizens (of the United States).

The issue is that Ted was born in CANADA to a CUBAN citizen father.

. [Let's unpack that a bit]

"....But look closer at the bolder portion. It never says that the father has to be a citizen of the United States at the time the child is born. All it says is that citizenship "shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States." It is indisputable that Rafael Cruz was in the United States for a period of time prior to both Ted's birth and his marriage to native born American citizen Eleanor Elizabeth Darragh Wilson in 1969. He fled Cuba in 1957 at the age of 18, arriving in Texas. There, he attended the University of Texas, graduating with a degree in mathematics in 1961. He even married his first wife there, Julia Ann Garza, in 1959. They later divorced, but not before he had two daughters with her. He was also granted political asylum in 1961 upon his graduation from UT."....

Cruz great at wining states where the largest sanctioned religious cult(Mormons) is in control, or where cows outnumber people. We’ll trade field goals for touchdowns baby.

Too funny.

You're rephrasing Obama's "they cling to guns or religion or antipathy...." to insult Americans who don't think like you do. Is this David Axelrod? ROFL

If it’s such a “kiss of death,” why is Breitbart sitting on it?

Probably because they're all doubled over with laughter at the so-called 'outsider' being revealed as the ultimate 'insider'.

That's Lyin' Ted Cruz, if you don't like his positions, wait a few minutes and he'll change them for you.

I'll give you points for having the bald faced nerve to accuse Cruz of something that in fact is Donald's signature MO.

Back when Trump was explaining that he would make deals with establishment leaders in Congress, Trumpsters were telling us that “the establishment has come around to Trump, not vice-versa.” Why can’t the same be said for Cruz? He’s the only legitimate Not-Trump still running. While I question their motives about rigging the convention if Trump doesn’t cross the 1,237 threshold, what other option do they have? The establishment sees Cruz as the lesser of two evils at this point.

OMG what are you on about now.
Here is a FACT.
and you now say it is a good thin g he is part of what he was against so explain it.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

Do you consider voting for TPA, Corker (that turned the Constitution upside down) and expansion of H1-B visas doing what he said he would do?

And Ted didn't even know he was Canadian when he was running
for the U.S. Senate in 2012 when Texans elected him.

Sure, we all believe that.

Cruz isn’t eligible and they all know it

Where are the lawsuits from Trump? That's right, he's all bluster.

herer is a proof

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

now it seems after attacking Trump as a person who would get backing off the establishment he and his few voters are now saying it is a good thing cruz is part of the establishment

His own words are right there for you CW.
So is it good now like we all agreed he was anti establishment, or is it good now that he is part of the establishment or do we wait for cruz to make his mind up first

What on earth does Trump statement on the legislative process have to do with this again?

Or is this just a “Cruzster” fishing for a spin?

This is what astounds me about Trump supporters. In 2012 Romney was rightly rejected for being TOO LIBERAL and the conservative base stayed home. Four years later, we have a candidate that has publicly supported both HILLARY CLINTON and NANCY FREAKING PELOSI, has donated money to the corrupt CLINTON FOUNDATION and has previously supported ALL FORMS OF ABORTION. Four years ago, those actions would have been a non-starter for any candidate. However, Trump is now perfectly acceptable because he’s a politically incorrect flamethrower. They don’t call the Republican Party the “Stupid Party” for no reason!

” It never says that the father has to be a citizen of the United States at the time the child is born. “

What is “IT”? I am referring to the United States Constitution which is the “supreme” law of the land. No laws, such as immigration laws, change the “natural born citizen” eligibility clause. This would take a constitutional amendment.

This clause is explained in Vattel’s Law of Nations, Book 1, pages 212-215.

“That little girl hates her father and the other shows an element of fear.”

Actually one has to feel some pity for most of the family. Those appallingly awkward, staged videos of the family were beyond creepy. Heidi seems brittle, about to shatter into a million pieces, and except for Felito and Raphael Eduardo, all of the others seem like anxious captives, desperate to please and not sure how. Only Felito and Raphael Eduardo seem relaxed, in their reptilian ways.
