Start with deportation and refusing refugees.
Then we will have a better idea of where we are.

I notice he has stopped talking about the problem with illegal immigration. No point in talking about policing until with enforce our borders so they don’t get here to begin with.

Yeah, right. Cruz spoke about building the wall in 2012. Is Trump parroting?

Once again you repeat the same seminary lies. Cruz has always talked about a wall and watching domestic terror groups. Trump started when he filed as a candidate.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Tuesday defended his proposal for police to patrol Muslim communities in the wake of the attacks in Brussels.

“That does not mean targeting Muslims, it means targeting radical Islamic terrorism,”

LOL, yep.

I wonder if The Federalist approves of the revised Cruz campaign promise to “patrol and secure” Christian neighborhoods against extremism.

close ALL mosques and so-called Islamic centers , and declare Islam a cult and thus not subject to protections under the 1st Amendment .

Allow militias to form openly

Right....We gotta catch them before they get radicalized.

And we do that how?

Hey dude...are you radicalized?? Let's talk.

It's not what he said. It's how he said it.

Of course police and other law enforcement agents have to surveil and infiltrate Muslim mosques and neighborhoods and they do that. As they do with other dangerous groups. They should keep doing it in New York.

But it's more of a covert thing. Ted's talk of "patrolling" Muslim neighborhoods could be taken as involving something more like some kind of occupation, something that's bound to inflame radicalism, rather than quell it.

It's like with "carpet bombing them into oblivion." The idea of using deadly force against ISIS is right and necessary, but the method Ted spoke about is one that tactical specialists aren't likely to agree with.

For a bright guy, Ted sometimes says stuff that doesn't always show much evidence of thinking.

If you did a little research, you would find out that the wall of which Ted speaks is actually a fence.

Trump is talking about a wall you hit your head on.

Cruz spoke about building the wall in 2012.

That was four years ago, and all he's done is talk. He ain't actually done anything about it. At least we know Trump WILL build that wall.

If Ted Cruz cured cancer tomorrow, you’d call him out on his methods and the cost.

It’s really true, flaglady. He follows Trump around like a little puppy. Who can forget him parroting about a wall at the last debate? It won’t get him any votes in NYC, I assure you!

Monitoring muzzies in NYC was a priority under both Guiliani and Bloomberg (who I despise, btw). Under the communist DeBlasio it’s all been thrown down the toilet and he has shariah-compliant Bill Bratton to enforce his decrees!

Pretty sad considering my husband and I are frequent riders on the subway. We’re the eggs to make that proverbial omlet, I guess.

LOL! Ted making sure those Amish don’t ambush us at the Farmer’s Market.

No wonder Neil Bush has been kept under a bushel for 40 years. What next? Marvin (apparently the Rosemary Kennedy of the clan) for Supreme Court?

Yup. These open-border, amnesty, asshole politicians on one side are pouring gasoline on the fire, and on the other side complaining it’s getting out of control and burning down the house.
