Didn’t say I agree. I don’t. But there has to be a realistic starting point from which to fight.
I notice on FR that only one or two issues are considered in their original intent. Original intent with regard to freedom of speech and press isn’t so important if one wants to “loosen up” libel laws. And the original intent of state sovereignty doesn’t get much support when it comes to caucuses and primaries.
