Well, darnit. I guess I over shot. I was just trying to appease you enough not to shoot me. Not trying to make you bust a gut with cheer.

Cruz is and was my only choice in this race. Will see what happens. Thanks.

I could have supported the donald until Iowa, where he turned tail form the flack Cruz was catching and said he'd increase the ethanol mandate and use the EPA to the fullest extent of the law to enforce it.

No one is going to restore America as a manufacturing power AND keep the EPA. Incompatible goals.

That, and running from debates, was more than enough, but keeping the EPA was the deal-breaker.

So, that leaves me in the same place you are. Pray. America needs it.

On this holy day, I certainly agree.

Service tonight was helpful to remember just that and allow God to reveal his plans.

We can Trust in God. Though we can also trust in Politicians to say anything they want to get elected, and, then, pursue their own miserable agenda.

Everyone can vent and tell untruths, every now and then, perhaps to be tactical in a situation.

But, as a candidate to become potentially POTUS, Trump is one of the best manipulators. Because, he blatantly lies to pursue his own (business) agenda - all else is peripheral, to & for him. Trump, as I’ve observed him, does not believe in ‘policies’.

Trump so far is extremely divisive, riding on peoples’ emotions (some call it ‘engagement’).

Furthermore, Trump, in my observations, is a VERY controlling creature, for himself, whose current lies & basic characteristics, post-his nomination & potential presidency (should it be so), will have MUCH broader implications, globally - including those things he will not be able to control.

I know we can’t expect Jesus Christ to be a nominee for the Republicans; in my guess he wouldn’t want to be a politician anyway, and we aren’t voting for a Pope.

But, I do expect some integrity from a potential presidential nominee, can expect I won’t have much of that integrity, and do not expect People who vote for those Politicians to blindly follow.

Trump as I see him for now is not fit to be POTUS. He is a chameleon, though his inner core will endure.

Well, Happy Easter as we worship our risen Savior.

In all this election fray, it’s a good time to remember the Book of Daniel which talks about who is really in charge - repeated four times. Only has to say it once but apparently we need a lot of reminders.

“the most High rules in the kingdom of men; and he will give it to whoever it pleases him, and he will appoint the basest man over it” (Dan 4:14).

“the most High rules over the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will” (Dan 4:22).

“the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever he will” (Dan 4:29).

“the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and he will set over it whoever it pleases him” (Dan 5:21).

On this Resurrection Day, let us remember that whatever we do, let us put less trust and confidence in our own efforts and the efforts of man, and more confidence and trust in our Risen Lord and Savoir who is the Ruler over man and his government.

God Bless.
