Agreed. “Our” side is making a mockery of itself. Watching the farce of this campaign, for the first time in my life, I think I might need anti-depressants.
Its a slow motion train wreck.
These past 3 presidential elections have looked, at least 2 me, as 2 of the most winnable elections the republicans could have hoped for. 3 very flawed very corrupt democratic candidates were run out there and each time, the republicans F’ed it up and lost.
There’s got to be something else going on here. No one can be this stupid. No one.
If we can’t beat the hildabeast, I give up. There won’t be another republican or conservative president in my lifetime.
Nah, just sit back and try to find the warped humor in all of it. Sort of as if you’re watching an anarchic Marx Brothers movie.
It’s even easier when you’ve already arrived at the conclusion that the country is totally unsalvageable. Or like me, that the country has become so sick and perverse that it isn’t even ‘worth’ salvaging anymore. Embrace the dark humor of the nihilistic operetta, and thrill to the carnage and crushed souls.
I had to take a time out, hoping this silliness would end. Think I need another one.
Looking at the long view, now that Republican women have joined the debate the same criticism can be directed at Hillary. She will not be able to claim she is being bullied. She is going to have to face all the mud from her past just as the Relubilican women are dealing with all the attacks right now.
