This is BS. In the first place, the LAW prohibits any candidate from having any coordination with any PAC not run by their own campaign.
This was a separate PAC that ran a picture of Trump’s wife. Did she pose for the picture? Yes. Was it in a publicly sold magazine? Yes. Is it Trump’s wife? Yes. Would she be First Lady if Trump is elected? Yes (unless he divorces her — a nasty habit he has).
I don’t see what the problem is. Ted Cruz had nothing to do with this attack. I agree that it is sleazy, but posing nude in a men’s magazine is also sleazy. Or, at least it is indicative of the model’s character.
it’s called ‘bearing false witness’ - people are disingenuously trying to tie ted to this PAC in an effort to destroy his character- and when it’s pointed out that Ted had nothign to do with it, they double down by insisting he’ shoudl have known about them and hte ad’ (apparently the moment it came out’) and immediately denounced it, and since he didn’t, he’s a ‘slimeball’ evidently-(Of course Donald isn’t a slimeball for lying about Ted accusing him of begin responsible for hte ad, an then threatening Ted’s wife, and now personally retweeting this latest photo of heidi- nope- not donald- he’s just peachy- Mr ‘can-do-no-wrong’ himself)
Gateway pundit used to be a go to site for conservatives- but their blogging lately has not just bordered on ‘bearing false witness’, it has embraced it with passion unfortunately
Exactly right. Thank you.
Yeah, there are ways around all that. This article was written 4 months ago. I am sure a lawyer like Cruz has come up with more since.

You’re right, the photo is in the public record just as is the report of Heidi being picked-up out by the MoPac that libbylu damned us all to hell for bringing up. It ain’t a game of beanbag.
