The GOPe will not allow Trump to lead the party. The GOPe is to corrupt to allow an honest man to occupy the White House. Cruz on the other hand is acceptable to the anti-American globalist GOPe. This story is probably from Rubio supporters. As it hurts both Cruz and Trump and makes it less likely that Cruz get the node at a contested convention.
