BTW, the National Enquirer is owned by Roger Altman (Wiki), who was Deputy Secretary of Treasury under Bill Clinton. Altman was credited for his work in pushing through NAFTA. He was also forced to resign from Treasury due to his involvement with the Clintons in the Whitewater scandal.

I don’t know if the NE story has legs (Cruz apparently has denied it), but it certainly has the whiff of Clinton dirty tricks! Maybe Cruz is getting too close to the nomination?!
