I know how bad cult of personalities can be, but seeing these Trumpanzees rip apart the American right of center this cycle might go down as one of the lowest points I've ever seen. There is literally nothing their leader "the Donald" can say or do to dissuade them. Trump lemmmings will throw all principle, honor, decency, etc, to the side to dutifully line up behind their leader.

And you know what the worst part of all this is. Assuming Trump does get the nomination and predictably goes on to lose in landslide to Hillary, they still won't accept that they were conned and turned into useful idiots. They'll just blame whoever Trump blames for his loss. The only upside for ideological conservatives who oppose this populist, protectionism Trump spews is that he hates losing and when he gets clobbered in November no movement will be built around him because he doesn't have the patience to lead one. That should drive this populist, protectionist garbage out of the party for a generation or two.
