I don’t think this came out quite as he intended.No he thought he was going to look tough and chivalrous to instead he looked (sorry haven't watched only listened) stupid, rattled and guilty.
By the way Ted spit it out, I speak slow by he takes the cake - learn how to talk Ted. The cadence of his speech is aggravating. But now it is apparent he thinks slower than he talks.
