We have to vote for what is best for the country, and stop hoping that a human being can attain the power or self-confidence to withstand the filth in DC and run the the most important dirty job in the world — and still be a choirboy. It really isn't possible any more, especially in the post-Christian age feuled by the Internet.
So, whomever you choose, it must be "warts and all", focusing on what skills and redeemable virtues they are able to bring to the table to help our situation (we're broke; we've been usurped; we're being steadily invaded; our military has been sodomized and gutted; they've shredded our Constitution, etc).
This present scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. Once any of the other candidates' party gals start cashing in, it's going to run like a sewer. The thing is, people don't much care any more, because we've fallen or been pushed so far down. Putin divorced and married a bimbette. The premier of France has both his common-law wife and his mistress working side-by-side in his administration. Britain's ruling class is riddled with homosexual and child sex abuse scandals at the moment. Germany has committed suicide. So, any of our political dirtbags fit right in. They're all better than living under shari'a.
