This might not make sense unless you’ve read: 1) Original FULL Outline of Cruz Affair Story Here, and 2) Cruz obtuse Denial and deflective Accusation Here.

Now, the entire saga takes a somewhat conformational twist.

How hard were you laughing when Edwards denied being the father of his mistress baby right up until it could almost walk?

Maybe instead of looking so foolish now, you might just not make up lies that you think are so clever. Since Rubio’’s group started this you are showing how disingenuous you are attacking Trump.

The SIL of one target (target was married to her brother) has come forward refuted targets denial
The testimony of the hooker out of Texas said he flew her to Alexandia on several occasions. Last time in January. She is now in hiding ... From him. He has threatened her.
Gonna get messier and messier as more HO HOs come forward -— according to Cruz it’s all Trumps fault. Cruz is not responsible for his own zipper.

The Carpenter thing, though, is creepy: both publicly sport the same Churchill tattoo the same day? WTH?

Carpenter was his Comms director at the time. I am not really shocked by the tattoo thing in an office environment. It's just circumstantial that anything was going on as far as I am concerned. (And I am a Trump supporter).

Dear friends this is the rare situation in which I have a tidbit of a historic election secret relevant to the current discussion.

During a prior presidential election I knew directly from a DNC official in a battleground state, that the democrats had a scandal story which they desperately were trying to get into the media.

The media refused to run the story. I believe the story was false and as a result over the years I’ve alluded to it here bit I still won’t “publish” it because it could tarnish an honorable person.

Bottom line is I know the media sometimes will not run such a story even against a republican.

It can be because they don’t think it’s verifiable, or they may have their own agenda. In this case the agenda could be anti Trump, or save it for the general.

But yes it does happen and even when a rival campaign goes to them with a story.

Umm, Seek?

Seriously, what else does one do in a hotel? Unless they were coming out of the hotel restaurant. (I'm sure DC has enough business centers and office spaces that are not in hotels.)

The problem is, showing receipts and time stamps for the restaurant is a double-bind. Yeah, everyone goes to restaurants with co-workers...even opposite-sex co-workers.

But in DC, where so many politicians are banging so many eager young star-struck things...even innocence is no defense against the appearance of impropriety.

Trump has donated to Hillary, and to Cruz.

Long before he was a Presidential candidate ... and he gave Cruz $5k.

We are in a whole new arena with the $500k donation, which occurred DURING a presidential run.

At least espouse the view that Cruz had Carly in mind for VP ... so he was proping her up. That is at least more believable ... if you ignore all the other conflicting details of the story.

CT won an award for one of the 50 best blogs on the net:

Best Independent Investigative Reporting:
Conservative Treehouse: Few researchers are doing it better anywhere

If you would actually read the site you would see that Sundance is very careful with what is posted there - supposed facts must have attribution - you just can’t post wild stories without Sundance getting after you. I find this somewhat unusual since as we all know most sites - and I don’t mean FR - don’t really moderate their comments at all.

[That 500K is the biggest question in the whole story.]

That 500K is why I stopped giving to his campaign.

Carpenter? Too bad this wasn't Kasich. We could mock them by playing Please Mr. Postman...

But as it is, yeah, that one is a tell. People who aren't already flirting or worse don't do that kind of thing. When was the Churchill tattoo? Right after Obama returned the bust of him to the Brits?

There is a lot of joking and info digging going on here,
but the truth is that Saturday Night Live will dictate
what the voters "think" happened.

Like that falsehood of Gov. Palin seeing Russia from her porch,
what matters is not the truth OR the historical record,
but what the MSM and comedy shows "report".

His has touted his faith constantly and stood beside Beck when he pronounced him sent by God. You must be delusional to even say he didn’t’ make his morality an issue. I hope he is that moral as I don’t want to listen for months to anti-republican and esp. anti- Christian jokes.

If this is a smear campaign then geeze, now it’s up to 8 women and video , interview and” other” evidence is being teased and its being tied to a factual $500,000 payment to the Fiorina campaign ( all quiet on the Fiorina front)

Quite a bit of overkill for an elaborate smear

Ted’s lawyers better get busy

Funny how these Trumpamaniacs are now taking Rubio’s side, someone they despise as GOPe. Suddenly the attacks on Cruz are okay and believable if they came from the GOPe?

It demonstrates that they are not directly from the Trump campaign as a planned retaliation to the nude pics of Melania ("do you want this as first lady") right before the heavily-conservative-Mormon state of Utah.

just because you like it doesn’t make the story true. The pitiful part is is can be debunked 1000 times but the smear is still there and you’ll still be wearing it on your lips.

“If true, Cruz was very foolish to have run for president without making the affairs public”

Why not? He is running for president even though, the constitutional lawyer, knows that he is ineligible to the office.
