"Cruz’s campaign needs to contact Bubba for advice on how to handle bimbo eruptions."

"Five? There were five? Way to go Ted!"

The one thing that confounds me is Drudgereport’s silence on this. I have a hard time in believing it is just jealousy against National Enquirer and not wanting to drive business to them.

The fact that Drudge, given his propensity to boost Trump, is refusing to pick up on the Cruz story even after it broke wide is the weirdest thing of all.I could see him being jealous that he got scooped, but once a story that salacious is ruling twitter his silence makes me think he's waiting for something else to drop.

“wake me up when there’s direct evidence instead of innuendo... “

You mean like DNA that the cruzer left with his mistress(s)? Already been mentioned, and will emerge at the right time just like the famous BlueDress.

Cruz would be a lock-in for the Democrat nod.

NO WAY would the media have not covered such a story about Cruz. Period.

I must politely disagree. They often hold damaging info, only to release it at the most damaging time.

"I agree in principal what you say, but in my heart I know this is true. Cruz as a very sharp lawyer would have demanded a retraction and threatened lawsuit by now."

Yep.

Well tRump buddies Roger Stone and Mr Pecker are very good at running smears, they didn’t name anyone directly, they blacked out the eyes, the digitized the images for others to out the women in question, who are almost all high profile.

With the defamation laws for public figures, ruz as a sharp lawyer knows he has no chance. A defamation suit in any case would run past the General Election.

Bernie is an open socialist. We know from his campaign speeches that he wants to destroy capitalism, and he’s got Barack the First out there explaining to the young and foolish that there’s not much difference between capitalism and communism.

Hillary is an open felon. Among other things, she is guilty of crimes that anyone who has ever handled classified material knows would have put a non-Clinton behind bars for decades. It’s worse that what put Jonathan Pollard in prison for nearly 30 years, and far worse than the ones leading to Petraeus guilty on a mere misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified materials (two years probation and a $100,000 fine).

And we’re in a feeding frenzy over allegations with no evidence? It’s sad that a PAC (legally prohibited from coordinating with Cruz) released that sleazy ad attacking Trump’s wife. It’s at least equally sad that Trump went way overboard in response to a third-party ad criticizing his wife and criticized Cruz’s wife. The horse manure over how quickly Cruz condemned that ad (not quickly enough) is nonsense, and we all know it. First, for Cruz to respond instantly could look like coordination with the PAC, which is a crime. Second, to respond to everything his various supporters ever say would take him off message. Trump supporters wouldn’t want Trump going off message, and it’s foolish for us to pretend Cruz should do it.

If Cruz really is guilty in multiple affairs, that is a major issue. However, there are far more important issues that we actually know are true. If the establishment stops both Trump and Cruz, we will get someone who supports Amnesty, and America will be destroyed as a free country. If they stop both Cruz and Trump, we will get someone who supports Obamacare, and medical progress will continue slowing down while costs will continue to soar. If they stop Trump and Cruz, we will get someone like Kasich whose comment on bakers being fined $135,000 for refusing to participate in a gay parody of a wedding was “bake the cupcake”, and religious freedom will die.

It’s embarrassing that conservatives are divided and trying to destroy the only two acceptable candidates [acceptable defined by their records, by reading what Trump has said and written, what Cruz has said, how he voted, and what he has written, including his oral arguments in front of the Supreme Court] in a political race this important. The stakes this year are astronomical, and we are in a circular firing squad over tabloid accusations that have no evidence and over third-party actions? It’s pathetic. The “LyingTed” meme does not match reality, no matter how much it appeals to those who like the squabbles among 12-year-old girls. The criticisms of Trump over his wife’s photos from 20 years ago are completely irrelevant to how he would perform as president.

We lost six hundred thousand Americans in the first Civil War. I am far more worried about the risk of a second civil war if conservatives mess up in this election (or worse - a capitulation to tyranny without defending freedom) than I am about the manners shown by either Cruz or Trump, or about allegations with no evidence.

But if he went through the motions, voters would believe him more.

Yes. When it’s come to the point where both Cruz and Trump are commenting on it, it’s clearly a news item. For Drudge to talk about a Drone package delivery for two days straight is... weird.

There’s a difference. Trump doesn’t pretend to take daily swigs of bottled holy water.

Are you saying the GOPe is telling him what to do? Could be. If so, they’re letting him twist in the wind. Not that I would expect anything else from them. On that score, has anyone come out to defend him? Romney, Graham, Jeb, anybody? Has Carly weighed in? How about Preibus? All I’ve heard is crickets.

Rather than attacking Trump supporters, many who did support Cruz at one time, I would be more concerned with my own candidate. Why should we vote for St Cruz after all of his issues with the truth?

Pray America wakes

“Perhaps it was being held in abeyance for later use if Cruz was the nominee running against The Beast?”

Bingo. IF this is true (it is only an allegation at this point), then it is better it comes out now rather than after the convention.

If SNL start running skits about Ted the womanizer, then true or not, the Cruz campaign is sunk.

To this day, people still attribute “you can see Russia from my house” line to Palin, even though she never said it. It was a line from a SNL skit.

I would call them low information voters, but I think non-information voters is a better description. Unfortunately, they vote.
