Ted Cruz told reporters in Wisconsin the story was “all lies.” Cruz then went on to blame the article on Donald Trump and his “henchmen.” Cruz argued Roger Stone has been forwarding the article today on the internet. He thinks Trump campaign is behind this story. Cruz also said the publisher of the National Enquirer is a friend of Donald Trump’s.
But these rumors did not start with Donald Trump.
The rumors were started by the Rubio Campaign and anti-Trump GOP elites.
On Friday the parent company for National Enquirer refuted Ted Cruz.
“No one influences the reporting that the National Enquirer does other than our own reporters and editors,” according to the statement. “We stand by the integrity of our coverage and remain committed to our aggressive reporting on such an important topic. The National Enquirer, more than any other publication, has been unflinching in its reporting on the 2016 presidential candidates.”

Cruz’s mouth says one thing but his actions do another.
And then the mouth accuses and lies saying that it was all someone else’s fault. This must have worked when he was a kid.
Sadly, it seems the price of admission to power in Washington is you have to be compromised so that the "powers that be" have the power to destroy you at will--that's what keeps them all in line. The ruling class doesn't care what your vice is as long as they own you. The fact that they don't have that leverage over Trump is what terrifies them most of all.
If true, and I believe it is, Ted’s a serial cheater. Perhaps that’s one of the reason Heidi has emotional problems.
It’s looking like this came from a few Rubio ops who are now “supporting” Cruz ...they’ve been sitting on this and have now released it in the hopes of destroying both Trump and Cruz ...I don’t think Trump had anything to do with it... there is a lot out there pointing to a few well known GOPe hacks that were supporting Rubio and openly talking about this scandal
I agree. And if Ted is as pure as he says he is he should do a onetime 5 minute on camera statement with Heidi by his side swearing they are happy and nobody’s cheatin. Heidi has totally disappeared this week. I hate to say that I am guessing this is not Heidi’s first time at the cheater’s rodeo.

But I truly wonder - - if it is true, then what is Cruz thinking? That he will get away with it somehow?
I went from being a huge Cruz admirer to being very turned off by the man. He strikes me as being very immature and lacking wisdom and prudence, all talk and no character.
I suppose I answered my own question. Cruz does not “man upo” because he is not much of a man, if these allegations are true.

And I might add that while Melania Trump may not appear to be a very political person, I suspect she has an excellent mind and perception for the issues and is unafraid to express those issues in private with her husband.
They called Margaret Thatcher the ‘Iron Lady’, it would be a refreshing surprise to discover that Melania has quite the streak of iron in her as well.

Trump, unlike Calgary Ted, is an engaging guy who has a lot of friends. It would not surprise me if he was at least on friendly terms with many publishers of major publications, perhaps even friends for years. Trump and the company both say Trump had nothing to do with this. It seems to me this is just more typical Cruz deflection. Nothing is ever Calgary Ted’s own fault. It is always either the “poison pill” excuse or somebody doing him dirty.

Trump is one of the meanest, nastiest people ever to run for the office, at least on the Republican side. He actually seems to get off on insulting and belittling people, including solid lifelong conservatives. The only person it seems he gets along great with and has high admiration for is KGB Putin.
