The already have ‘affordable housing’. It is my understanding there that nearly all of the homes in the more upscale neighborhoods have OWNERS.
Therefore they are ‘affordable’, at least to enough people.
They tried that in upscale Hillsboro near San Francisco. No bus lines. No sidewalks.
