Yes
Sorry brother. I have to my nails that day.
Production Budget: $250 million
"Buried in a movie that cost way too much (reportedly $250 million) and goes on for far too long is a promising idea that goes to waste. "Batman v Superman" might have worked better at half the cost and half the length."
Someone worked out the cost analysis and came up with a loser in the money department regardless of the opening sales.
Production and distribution costs are more than they will realize from ticket sales. Maybe DVD sales will make up for it but the way the movie has been panned I don't think so.
Sad Ben Affleck sweeps the Internet after star's heartbroken (but amusing) reaction when he's told poor Batman v Superman reviews

It won’t even release in China until March. I think you’re cheering the film’s death just a bit prematurely. Even the unequivocal failure (in storytelling and box office) of the latest “Terminator” film didn’t keep it from turning a significant profit from overseas sales, and that’s not even getting into the home video sales.
I saw the movie last night with my seven year old son. We both liked the movie. We don’t care what the critics say and it was well worth the $16 to be entertained for 2 1/2 hours.
I’m not cheering the films death. I just posted what I read.
“I didnt even see the latest Star Wars”
3 of my friends worked on the set here in Burbank post production and gave me the screeners. I haven’t watched it LOL and i thought I was the only guy on Fr who has not watched it.
The concept stinks.
With all of these Star Wars films and giant-budget comic book films, are things super busy in Hollywoodland or pretty much the same as usual?
You’re the only guy on FR who works in Hollywood who hasn’t seen it. Since you’ve said you were an exec on Iron Man, I picture you being Peter Billingsley. I like your work. ;)
I have something better. I used to intern for one of the execs for Harry Potter and I have all the Blu rays as a gift.
But I have NOT seen one harry Potter movie ever. I stated it in one thread and a couple of Freepers also said they never saw one second. Well, one Freeper passed by in front of the Tv while their kids were watching LOL
Just this morning after a Nickelodeon meeting, I learned the next door guys were plotting to write the Robotech/macross series from the 80’s. 2 days ago I read the pilot script for Aquaman for WB. Then I said “so you’ll be filming at Seaworld then?” which got me irritated looks...
Batman is the world's greatest detective and inventor. I'm sure he can have Alfred whip something up.
They won’t be getting a dime from this household.
That means Alfred is the power behind the throne. He must be as bad as Lex Luther, but in the name of what is holy and good.
That's just the cost to make the movie itself.
There are all other costs as well, such as marketing, licensing, and studio distribution.
I haven’t seen it, either.
I’ll wait until it’s on iTunes.
I hate theaters.
Sure, just CGI in some extra fish, BOOM, you got a movie.
