Whatever happened to PHP, MySQL, and Apache? I knew those. Now I feel old.
PHP, and MySQL are server-side applications, Apache is a server OS. The dangerous stuff, like javascript and flash are applications run on YOUR computer, which is why they are dangerous.

PHP is awesome, very human readable. It is what makes MYSQL database useful.

I just finished a course on Angular 2, with TypeScript with enforced types it’s more like coding a Java/.Net app. It’s still in beta, but I suspect it will be adopted very quickly.

LISP is the only pure language, ban everything else. Especially Smalltalk and Ada. If we're banning things on non-purity, then Smalltalk, as the only pure object oriented language, should stay. Java and all others should go. I'd like to say ban Ada on principle because it is the only American computer language developed by the government. But there have been a couple of good things developed from it. It is one of the most "provably correct" languages.
You can ban all C derived languages after C though.

I sure know that bro. I’m a developer, and a skilled one. I don’t like either, but at least (modern) Java is typesafe and all versions are server-side.
