Agreed FRiend!
I’ve been told by artists that the hardest thing to draw/paint is the human hand.
But I think that’s probably true of the entire human body; and it’s been a main subject and study model of artists ever since representational art began.
The impulse to represent the human form artistically didn’t change with the advent of photography, the opportunities and media just broadened.
