I just listened to the interview and clear Donald Trump does not want to say any more about it. He had NOTHING to do with the NE story and it is up to Cruz to take care of his problems.....if they are problems. Why doesn't Cruz just demand a retraction from NE or threaten to sue???

That is what anyone else would do, isn't it???

Trump wants the subject shut up because it is blowing up in his face.
And Cruz can't successfully Sue the Enquirer because they CAREFULLY only said that some people were TALKING about Cruz allegations. And that is true. Many Trump supporters here on FR ARE talking about unproven, unsubstantiated allegations. There are no grounds for a successful suit. The Enquirer and who they support ( Trump) got exactly what they wanted out of this.

What would you sue them for, saying there is a rumor of an affair. That’s all they really said.

I heard a rumor Trump had sex with underage girls on his private plane. I heard a rumor Melania was a call girl for the rich and famous.

Rumors mean nothing and cannot be sued. The entire story is based on rumor. There is more real evidence Obama was gay and had gay lovers then this nonsense. Rumors upon rumors. Simple thing a journalist actually needs:

Who, what, where, when with actual evidence. None has appeared as of yet. It’s all just rumor after rumor.
